Too bad you wouldn't even be there when I'm down there. Still would consider it though

Will this be Backcountry kayaking? Or is paddling? Which do gapers do?

Wouldn't want to screw up the terminology.

Nah, bro, you first. Or do you go 'surfing'?

If you pay some to do all the shit for you, is that still core? Or do you leave that part out of the pictures?

Never surfed anything other than a kayak. And Yeah, I pay someone to do the shit for me genius. Dan and Darcy both get in their boats and run the class IV and Vs while I sit in the lodge and sip coronas. Yup you got it. Guess i'm not core then.

Hell yes I'm going to use an outfitter, did you not notice I clearly stated that in the first post(edit: second post)? Considering i only have a limited timeframe to do it in, boats....or should I call them Kayaks....already down there and the most knowledgable people down there who can show me all the goods in that small timeframe I have....and hell yeah, a sick lodge, an amazing local cook so I dont get the shits. Yeah, I'm using a guide. And you called me out. Busted.

Awww, why are you getting your panties in a twist when someone makes sure you don't pervert the terminology?

I heard there are plenty of radical canyons there and you should just go over there and if it looks good jump in and paddle it bro!!!

Guides? Are you like some rich old guy or something?

I'm in Colo too - maybe we can get together in the spring and run that section of the Poudre as it comes into town.

And cj001f you're like so whack for giving the new guy the business. Jeeessshhh!!

Hey jongalot up in Breck. nough Said.

Was that the "business" he gave me? Could of confused it for cunting up my thread I appreciate the shit talking effort though.

I'm 27. And like I said about the guides-you illiterate fuck: aww fuck it you moron...I'm too lazy to explain it again. Go back a couple posts and catch up. Figure out the logisitics from there. I'm not rich but my buddy is and since he's a loaded heeb and he'll be on Christmas break from his prof. job, yeah, were taking advantage of a guide so we can get in/get out and run the shit in about a week. I doubt you know much about the shit though. Being you most likely boat flat water and ride a flat mountain up there.

It's called the Big South and the Narrows. Ring a bell? Anytime I can pull you away from that stream you guys call a whitewater park or Green Mountain Canyon, if you can even sac up to that...come down and run some real shit. I'll be your guideuh huhhuh.

In the meantime, stick to jonging people on the web. You need the practice.

Anybody on here actually kayak? I'm not talking bout park n play either, breck. Or are ya'll lurkin cause your still working on that roll. Anyone with Ecuador or Chile experience feel free to chime.

Board-I'm aware. As I've stated, I'm lazy in the ways of the forums. Maybe you can teach me. I'd be honored.

It's not his fault you guys got a hard on for wrecking threads. So, as he said, you started it. That was the kind of reaction you wanted.

Also, it isn't like using an outfitter in a foreign country for a short trip is a bad or noobish thing to do. That is, unless you want to spend a majority of your trip actually trying to find the river. Unless I was doing a trip that was over 3-4 weeks long, I would use an outfitter for at least few days so that I don't have to waste valuable time searching for the goods.

The only point where I would advise you to change your mind, SBK, is that I would bring my own boat. I know it is a hassle and you get charged on the plane, but it means you have a good boat that fits. A lot of times, boats in Latin American countries tend to be a little old/used/sketch.

Werd, I'd love to take the jefe but then again I kinda dread that whole fiasco...and I try to skimp whenever possible...since it's included in the cost of the stay. But from what I hear the folks at Small World have a wide selection of boats and newer models but do require some outfitting.

Awesome, how do you know me so well even though I'm such a jongnoob? I was so upset that I naturally just passed up your last post.

Classic, where do you come up with this? Yeah buddy, I'm fuming over here. Thinking about skiing for the next 3 weeks and going kayaking in Ecuador chaps my asshole. Pfft, fuckin powder.

CJ, you seems like a good guy from reading many of your past posts. Why the need to be an ass? Who cares this guy said Loveland isn't backcountry? Maybe not necessary to say, but it's kind of true. Slackcountry, sidecountry yes, bc no.

Yo go boy - I'm like you - if people disagree or bait me I launch into them with a tirade - cause you and I we're like so knolagable in all these things. Some say I'm a dufus jong cause of it - shitting on stoke, alienating folks, but I think it makes people more likely to help me out cause they understand how rad I am cause I show them.

On the boat - i'd just bring the inflatable rig cause then portages are easy and when you get the Montezuma revenge in the river - no sweat just partially deflate and rinse in the river. That and always get Cuervo!!

PS - are you really like 27? - thats so mature - probably on totally out your own and everything by now, mostly.

Use "like" one more time in one of your posts. Go back to your witty slackcountry thread. I dont wanna post on it at the risk of hurting someones feelings.

    WTF does this mean, jongalot

Come on down from your flat little town and put up. Chances are you wont find an angry 27 year old. I think I'd be laughing hysterically more than anything.

Everyone knows Brecks for rich kids livin in mommy and daddy's vacation home. Dont you got some doo-rags that need washed, kid. Better call mommy and figure out how those washin machines work, junior.

BTW,"knolagable?" You must have went to Hollywood upstairs college,eh?

Splityak - I thought we had a lot in common, like brothers.

Just you seemed like one of the few people who might have understood me since you're a jong here too - but I guess even jongs have their differences.

Hi, I got this cool craft and kajak on the main as we could not get anywhere else.
But tell you my dad was in south america 17 years and I tell you water there etc. holds soem surprises.Seriously, man , any pyranha is going to bite your finger of with one bite , so imagine a swarm they reduce a buffalo to bits in like a minute or so.I mean it´s not one or 20 it´s like 1 mio or so in a spot. And poison snakes are there so they are a problem plus gators and big snakes, poison frogs tec. and also diseases, guerillias , banditos and hunta.
Also watch for the syphon don´t know what rock they got if it syphones much or not.Syphones in soft rock.
