Jong things I did today

I'm so happy to be a Jong and love jonging my way through life. Here's a couple things I did today:

1) Hiked all the way up a peak and then skied down back and forth across someone else's tracks - just cause I didnt know where the hell I was going and figured its better to ski where they skied.

2) Brought some welded metal pipes up to the pass as a rail slide - then left it there, right at the bottom of the main line so that if it snows 2' it'll be just covered - someone's probably going to break both leggs while charging on a pow day - but I'm a Jong.

If you're serious about number 2, that blows. Get your ass back up there and lean it against a tree or something. Or take it home.

Hey remembered a couple other jongy things. Maybe kinda dum but I cant be bothered to consider others...heh...heh..

- I let my dog run around at the pass...he goes in front of cars and semis and stuff..but fuck it.

- I boot pack up the skin track usually. Unless theres a booter set and then I might skin.

- Drove home drunk tonight and smoked herbs on the way.

- Driving to Vail tomorrow - gonna drop some $, park 1 mile away, ride shuttle buses, stumble in my hard alpine boots along the brick pathways, do some shopping, and wait in line to ski pow with 10,000 one piece suit clad a-holes.

I was up to my usual jonging over the weekend:


- I hitching a ride at the pass and pulled out my new 12" glass pipe hoping to stoke out the driver with some fresh greenage. JONG move!!!! He was a cop!!!


- Kinda turned off by the hitch hiking after that I decided to skin this sweet untracked bowl instead. I set the track zig zaggin straight up the bowl instead of hitting the lower angle ridge on the side. Kinda cut up the line for skiing and exposed myself to possible slide. Guess thats why I'm a Jong!

What Jongeriffic thing did I do today?

I went for some BC with a couple other people. i let them break trail the whole way, and at the top dropped in first.

Did I mention I was wearing MY beacon but didnt want the extra weight of a shovel and probe. Oh well sucks for them!

The ones Rowdy Randy Pipesmoker uses in his fire ring next to his van down by the river are black. All of 'em.

Today's offering:

- I saw a cool little kicker across the bowl - so I traversed all the way across the middle of the bowl to get there. Kinda cut up a bunch of lines and had to traverse back, but boy I almost landed that 360.

Fat, stoned and jonging is no way to go through life.

What Jongish thing happened to you today, Sir Jongalot??? Seems like a lot of jongish things could happen on a friday.

Today just Totally planning a rad 1st descent for tomorrow - been scoping this one for a couple years:

I'm going to be the first to 1) Descend all the 14er in one season, 2) 1st on ANY of the 14ers on a Snoformel, 3) AND I'm going to pull permits to film in Forest Land so I can have a motion picture release (thinking of getting OBernard Franz to narrate).

Best early season snow in years and I decided to go to this party in Boulder last night. 5am after 12 PBRs and I strike out on the ugly chick. Drove 2hrs home wasted tumble in bed, and just woke up with what I can tell already is a 2 day hangover.

No skiing this weekend for me.

Dudesters - Here's my latest jonger's activity from yesterday:

I was at Loveland ski resort for the new pow and it was a bit slow at times so this is what I do:

I get behind someone else and get in their track and fly by them really fast - usually bumping them pretty good. Its rude and not very safe, but hell I'm a Jong...

Also did it traversing on the ridge at Chair 9 - I might hurt somebody, but I'm so jongy and dont care.:fm:

Did you rent skis? If so, remember to crust the boots/bindings with 3" if ice, then go into the rental shop every 1/2 hour and accuse the techs of setting the bindings wrong because your boot won't go in.

This alias could have a lot of potential if he was actually funny or clever.

Jong things I did today.
I made sure to ski under the landings of every cliff and cornice I could find.

I also made sure that my dog shit and pissed in the skin track. I dusted some snow over it though so no one would notice.

I told off the guy at the tire shop today. He tried to sell me winter tires when he could cleary see that i've got All Season tires. Duh! Winter's a season too! Some people are sooo stupid.

Dudes I just got back from the doctor.

I was out skiing at A-Basin and decided to emulate my idols in the ski vids and air this knarly line through rocks and shit. I was like 'no Jongy thats a bad idea' but then I said 'nah brah dont be a puss' and i tucked it off the 20' to hardpack. But I forgot my pass was still out of my jacket on that neck hangy thing and it kicked up in the wind and wacked me right in the eye. It totally damaged my cornea or something, and I like ate shit into the trees cause I couldnt see.

- scratched cornea
- strained knee
- bruised kidney
- swollen testicle

I'm out for 2 weeks - but getting back in the saddle and nailing that air asap.
