i searched, didnt find anything conclusive...
anyway, i think i need to get a full face this year....will be trying some bigger hucks, inverts, lincolns, ect...
and will be behind a sled alot this season too....
just not in the mood to destruct my face....
what do you reccomend?
obviously the lighter the better with limited field of view obstruction...

make sure it fits, and won't fog too bad because of a lack of ventilation near your mouth.
bring your goggs and hang out in the store with it on for 20 mins.
i really like my salomon FF lid... but who knows if it'd fit your lid...
Not sure if you are lookin for a detachable chin or not but there have been some Giro Flint SC's on ebay going pretty cheap.
The Flint SC chinguard will be good for one big hit and that's it, IMO. I have one and it looks to me as though when that plastic gets cold and takes a big impact it'll shatter and possibly impale your face.

12 dollars for a sweet black pro-tec full face with silver visor...fits like a glove, nice vents, and both my anon and oakley wisdom low light goggles fit (the oakleys have those dumb clips on the side that dont fit most helmets...)

If you have an oval shaped head (ie. a Giro 9 fits you well), then I can recommend the Bell Bellistic. Good construction, warm, and breathes well.
Getting the visor off seems to be a pain though. AKA (who has a flynt) claims that taking the visor off really helps to prevent fogging. I've had intermittent issues with fogging. I have a feeling it might have something to do with the age of the helmet and the amount of stank the pads have absorbed. I just got my second one and didn't have any fogging problems when I was in Lenas. We'll see as this season goes along.

I skied in a fullface for last year, wasn't worth the constant fogging. Returned my busted SC for a fuse...Fullface for certain times i guess, however my problem was knees-meet-chin syndrome and a regular fullface doesn't do anything for that....

One of the helmets that has my attention is the new Giro Remedy. For skiing you would need a beany under it on cold days (it is a DH/BMX helmet), but I usually wear something under a helmet on those days anyway. But it looks like it may be a contender in the FF market. The reason I like it, is that the face guard (or whatever you call that part) looks a little smaller and less obtrusive than the face guard that came with the Giro Flint. (and "yes" I had one, but to me the face guard/bar felt cramped IMO). Just another option to look at....

For full-face helmet fogging your goggles - try taking the visor off. It worked for me with my Flint SC. Although my current Flint SC is kind of stinky...
I wore a FF for awhile and would spit into it occasionaly. I would remind myself not to do that but an hour later I'm cleaning hork out of my lid. Ya I know kind of gross. I just ordered the new Protec full face so I need to curb my spitting problem and start swallowing.:rolleyes:
