Okay, so I don't have to participate any more in that other turd thread (although do watch out for foggy's mad bumperpant steeze).
Some mentioned that they think buying a gun against the breakdown of society is a reasonable thing to do but they don't think it needs to be accessible and suggested some oddish (IMVHO) equipment choices and how they'd get stored so...who here thinks they really would only want a gun against this? Please elaborate.

These are very likely to come packed in comsolene already so you'll have to decide if you want to clean em and shoot em...(which given their age and pedigree really should require a safety insp. by a good gunsmith) or leave em packed for long term storage:

i'm betting that no such thing happens but I do have a reasonably stocked arsenal for completly unrelated reasons (although with some of those prices I might pick sumtin up...a sixty dollar m44? You betcha!) that stays totally out cause I've no kiddies
