When should I expect your emo butt hurt angst to start setting in?:fm:
lets just say it better get cold soon!
Its about that time of year!
Alabama's winning(for now) so maybe we will get a reprieve this year. Although if his constant whining brings us a winter like last year then I guess I could put up with it.
I am starting to Jones pretty hard, but right now it is soooo nice outside and the leaves are absolutely going off and Joey is right....Bama is winning. I currently have bigger fish to fry! I have zero expectations that this winter will come close to being like last year, trying to prepare myself.
I remember a post you made after the dismal start last year saying that you'd be surprised if we got over 150 inches. I hope you're that pessimistic again.
Pray for I-70 to close! ;)

Hazardous weather is so hot!
it snowed astronomical amounts last weekend. redlodge got enough to start a wicked base. it was chest deep at the top of bridger.
Don't know about wicked base. There is grass showing at the base as of today. If it doesn't keep snowing, you'll have a wicked rotten layer to occupy your mind the rest of the season.
considering that RL has had a 12" base in February before. i would consider this year starting out great.
hi, montanaskier.
its mid-November.
Any angst? :firedevil:
trying to hold it together. Currently 39 and light rain at the house, that doesn't help. It was nuking on the pass tonight and that is a good thing. This next week or so is gonna be tough me thinks.
montanaskier,
have you cracked yet?

^^^ The last few days that map has started changing back to above normal precip, which means that the last few days of the forecast period (24-28) should be when we start seeing a more favorable pattern.
I can feel it building inside me like the Hulk....don't make me angry Rontele...you wouldn't like me when I'm angry Rontele(I mean high pressure)
I'm skinning tomorrow so I'll be ok, seems like some others are more likely to crack before me this year. I was cranky last night however.
Hey listen its not the appropriate time. Let the weather become more cold.
montanaskier,
look at today's long-term forecasts and tell me you won't crack by the end of the month.
you = screwed.
just started snowing in bozeman
yeah it sucks....what can I say. I skied blower this past weekend so that helped. We are going to Atlanta the first weekend of Dec so expect a huge dump that weekend then a return to sunny and warm upon my return.
i predict no cracking. It is what it is and at some point it will snow. I'll just keep hiking long and high until it does. Lesson learned, I was a newb and a douche what can I say.
Dear montanaskier,
Nothing this week and high pressure builds into the weekend/next week. How you doing? :firedevil:
funny but the wife and some other friends are doing much worse than me actually.
montanaskier,
you're fucked.
Things are not looking good for you, dood.Quote:
LONGER RANGE IS DRY UNDER STRONG POSITIVE PHASE PNA PATTERN. THAT APPEARS TO BE THE BIG CHANGE....IE. A STRONGER +PNA PATTERN THAT WILL PROBABLY BREAK LATER IN THE MONTH OF DECEMBER.
meh....it'll snow....I hope.
I just got a new/used bike.... let's go ride!
Dear montanaskier,
I hear they are calling for a dusting of butthurt* this weekend.
Should be epic, brah.
*MakersTeleMark gets all credit for the "dusting of butthurt" phrase.
whew.....
