I think Charlie Crist would fit the bill.
McCain bringing on Huck would make the far rightwing nutjobs happy (i.e. that pill popping junkie Rush), but would also push away a lot of the independents that McCain has in his court. Risky play, doubt he will do it. And hopefully he will not for the sake of this country. Having a nutcase as VP (especially given McCain’s age) would just continue our downward spiral.
