It's 5:08 pm. I have been working on an honors project for 6 hours. It is nowhere near done. I have 2.5 days to: finish this project, do a huge take-home exam, write an honors paper, write a business plan, and study for 3 finals. All this was assigned last week. My friends are taking bets on how much of it I will actually get done. The odds are stacking up against me.
But, I can't complain, it's completely my fault... I went skiing last weekend. :D And I will graduate anyways, to hell with 'em.

Damn. Coffee, girl, and lots of it! There's nothing like a little deadline pressure to kick you into high gear. In college, I started most of my papers at midnight the night before they were due, and I usually got As and Bs on them. I would just crank, stumble into class, drop them off, and go back to bed. It's 5:35 and I can say I haven't done much better - I spent the better part of my morning emailing weekend reports, and the afternoon posting about them . . . I spiced up the day a bit by talking about hydrocarbons, but never stopped thinking about skiing :-)

11:33 am MDT. I"ve done exactly 4 minutes of work today.
it's now 12:38 pst. and I have once again successfullly avoided anything that one might call "work." Unless you count increasing your post count substantially work.
Let's see, it's 12:39. So far I've managed to get some good reading done this morning, eat a couple of slices of cold pizza and a bowl of Special K with Strawberries in strawberry soy milk, and waste time on the computer.
I was going to head to Ebbett's pass this morning, but it's going to have to wait a couple of days. I'm definitely not going out there alone, and I'm going to head down to the Bay with Walter tonight since I need to collect my other jalopy and bring it up here. Hopefully it starts...
So I'm planning on sitting around a lot and going for a ride in a bit.
