Flip-flop stink management
I searched, but found nothing, though I have a hard time believing this subject has not been broached here. My flip flops fucking reek. This has been a problem since the first day I began wearing split-toe footwear, even Tevas back in the day. I've tried scrubbing them with a variety of soaps, but my current method includes just spraying them down with some antibacterial Lysol or Clorox bathroom cleaner stuff, letting them sit about 15 minutes, rinsing, and letting them sun-dry. It's a temporary solace from the stink though. 1 or 2 days and the Beast is back full-force. Even a brand new pair only last a week before fouling. I don't have athlete's foot, my normal shoes don't suffer from this plague.
I wanna hear some tips on effectively extinguishing this thriving petri dish bacterial metropolis on my flops.
