One of the grocery stores around here doesn’t have self checkout. Which seems like a feature, except they make you bag your own shit. For some reason self checkout where I bag my own shit feels fine, but if there’s a cashier there making me bag my own groceries feels kinda like washing my own dishes at a restaurant.
We have a really annoying lady that works the self scan area sometimes. She hovers over you telling you how to operate the damn thing even though I’ve been using them since they installed them 15 years ago. If I wanted to talk to someone I would have just gone to the regular cashier.
Parrots. This place is full of them.

Frozen water pipes at work on Monday, frozen pipes at SAR HQ today, and the little princess with what appears to be scarlet fever (after getting through the strep throat period her friends were in earlier in the year). I ordered something online from a company doing a promotion for free shipping.. but the cheapest.
I ordered this Wednesday morning and I really wanted it by the weekend, (Sunday) although it wasn't crucial.
I picked priority mail which is suppose to be 3 to 4 days and payed 20 dollars for it over free shipping.
The tracking kept not updating even though they said it was shipped.
Today it is finally showing a delivery day... Febuary 22! That's a lot longer than 3 to 4 days. It also says it was shipped the economy way...not priority that I paid for.
I guess I call them monday?
