Targa looks better than the cabriolet on the older ones.
You'd rather have a Cab than a Targa 991.2?

Not necessarily a pretty car, but I like them.

If I had kids, this would be the practical family truckster:

I would consider selling my current unit for the above wagon
....and 914s were underpowered, but really fun to drive
I'm loving' the new wheels

Nice wheels. HRE are the only aftermarket wheels that look good. I particularly like this wheel on the Vantage.

HRE wheels, Targas - especially the 991 - and those old Bimmers are teh sekz.
Pertaining to cabriolets, I was referring more to the feeling of driving topless, not so much the visual aesthetics.
IMO, the topless vehicles that look the best are the ones where the whole vehicle was designed as a roadster from the get-go, and not simply a convertible version of a coupe. For example, the BMW Z3....the Miata....Morgan....Sunbeam Tjger....the aforementioned BMW 507.....various British roadsters.......ALL true "roadsters".
The other side of that coin are the convertibles....The Lexus somethingblabla....the VW Rabbit convertible and the new and old Beetle convertibles..... the Porsche Cabriolet....various Pontiac and Oldsmobile convertibles..... The Aries K car convertibles.....you get the picture. None of these were designed from the ground up to to be topless vehicles...no roadsters in that list! They are all a " conversion " of a hard top into a topless car....a convertible. There is only so much redesign you can do with a convertible, and thus its aesthetics often takes a hit.
NOTE: I'm not using the term "roadster" to the letter of its technical definition...that of having two seats, but rather more the 'essence' of having a sporty roadster-like appearance and feel. I'm sure there are some four seaters out there that have a roadster-like appearance and feel.

Umm...NO....just NO. Ughh.
Yeah that looks nice for a four door. If they hold up well I will consider in 20 years, until then my v8 5 series does the trick for me.
I do like some aftermarket wheels, gotta be nice ones though, like ccw classics, bbs lm, ruf, etc...

And I think Bmw did an excellent job with the e30 convertible. Such great cars to drive.
Doesn't hurt that I picked one up cheap cheap with a 5spd manual sport package and only 67k on it... It will be for sale this summer...

The 996 Turbo on good aftermarket wheels just keeps looking better to me.
Although those kinda look like the the staggered wheels we ordered on our 996 way back when

CCW Classics look good on just about anything. The BBS RG-R is another. I think they came stock on some of the M and sport package E39s.
The turbo twist is love/hate but it's a good look on the 911, 944, and 968. Only directional wheel I can think of that looks like it fits.

And another. These looks like either Speedlines or OZs from years ago.

There a lot of great wheels. The Kinesis K58 is among them.

That red rx7 is awesome looking.
Looks good on 993

Nice. That car has some low miles. Hope you do well with it. Looks clean.
I forgot to say the turbo twists look like real dog shit on targas.
I've always liked Panasports on cars that are small, red and British. And 240Z's and stuff.
