Muchas gracias Ice, I'll stick with the 9, hopefully it'll be spot on or a touch big.

i wear XL arc'teryx (tight at the beginning, now just right) and XL Level (fit too big). got size 10 of the Hestras and they fit bigger than the arc'teryx but smaller than the levels. palm size is right, with just a tad of room left at the fingers (i fill the lining, but don't touch the end of the glove.
wifey fits XS in both kombi and arc'teryx, but the size 5 (men's) hestras are short on the palm (the wrist ends up farther back than the glove expects it to be). we'll swap hers for a 6.
hope that helps.
I wear XLs-my hestras in size 11 fit well, wouldn't want them any smaller
please feel free to email me if you have specific sizing issues

observe what i found in a canadian ski magazine from last year:
wow, i am surprised you found that. that tag line was actually a US specific tag line created by Freeskier Mag. then all of the Hestra divisions worldwide wanted to get on board with it...cheaters.

Have to throw out a big thank you to Hestra Gloves. After someone stole my last pair right off the top of my car at Eldora, Hestra hooked me up with a sweet pair of new gloves at an awesome price for the weekend. I will be testing them out tomorrow up in Summit. Thanks for the help with the gloves, you guys rock.
Ran into Slip the other day - he was wearing his Hestras with the little plastic tag holder still on it. heh.
Mel, if you post your e-mail addy here, use this format
melanie AT hestra DOT c o m
keeps spiders from finding it but get's the point across.
Yeah, irul you should edit that.
Got mine 3 days ago. They are sweet - can't wait to wear them next season. One of the better parts was the "Not for Snowboarding" tag... why is that on there?
This was cool. Hella bump.
I just met Melanie at OR. I walked up while she was with buyers and asked: "Would you say these gloves are dextrous as .....?" but trailed off before dropping the F-bomb. She was super cool. I thought I might be pushing the line a little.
Oh and you single maggots really need to petition her to get an avatar. :D
I met Melanie there too, def a cool chick, we joked about the circus she created over here and she said she didn't expect that kind of response. Now she knows not to underestimate the reach of the board.
And... My new Hestras arrived today!:fm:
Seeing this thread back up on the first page made my heart skip a beat with the thought that Melanie was hooking people up with another proform deal.
Damn.
Melanie! I need gloves! Be cool!
Finally got to use mine the other day. They truly are dexterous as fuck.
After a dozen days in the Seth Morrison glove I have to give Hestra HUGE props. This glove rawks. Melanie was great as always by warranteeing my Verticle Cuts which leeched yellow dye when they wetted out. I sure wish those Verticle Cut Freerides had a waterproof insert. It turns out that the Seth is a great alternative. Not too insulated & super dexterity. Fast-foot is using the Boronowski glove & says that it is super warm & his usually cold hands are compfy in them.
I've got almost a hundred days on my VCF's and they show almost no sign of wear. Yet they are so warm and have molded so perfectly to my hand I almost want to wear 'em to bed. I'm not a big fan of paying big bucks for gloves but the Hestras are definitely worth it.
