Bear & I are thinking of riding something tuesday morning...
But, more importantly - back to the Girlz kicking ass -
utsnowgirl & I were talking about doing the PC trailside skillz park on wednesday night, possibly after a short (warmup) ride - something easy.
BooBoo, since you're in town, would you be up for that & maybe some informal coaching/supportiveness?
Maybe Yentna, AltaGirl would be up for it as well?
Could be convinced, as long as I get some minor repairs done to bikey. :DQuote:

Your tie wrap indicator isn't at full travel even after you cleaned the last rockiest part on that line.Quote:

Might try to squeeze in a quick Temple Quarry ride after work....then I REALLY gotta do some studying (I mean it this time!!! :) )
right.....sure.....what did you say you're majoring in? slacking off and biking? :p
I think i'm down for the wednesday pc ride and skills park!
I'm headed down to Rad Canyon tonight for some MX/BMX practice and had planned on taking tomorrow off completely. What is this skillz course you speak of? I might be down for meeting up tomorrow night at that place and skip the warmup ride. Holla.Quote:

I might be down for just the skillz park, but no more. Totally worked after today, super tired and sore from overdoing it the last few days too. Let me know a time, though I'm really thinking I'll go to yoga since I'm so tired and sore and tight. Could be just what the doctor ordered. We'll see.
I'm out for trailside tomorrow. Forgot about a bridal shower. Might try to do a quick Quarry ride if the weather holds.
Well, I'm surely out for tonight, forgot until this morning that I have a night meeting until about 8pm, so won't be home until 8:30pm or so. Sigh. Oh well, I really do need a day off for sure.
droppin like flies.
ok, so i brought my bike to work. however....while getting off the exit for work i realized i left my bag of bike clothes at home. So i was thinking I might be able to make trailside but miss the ride unless i can sneak home to get my crap during lunch. Or i could ride at like 6 or 6:30 if it was down in SLC. We could ride quarry and check out those stunty things up there (i've still never seen them) as an alternate to trailside if it looks like that's not happening?
Skiguide, where are you at on riding today?
right......... ok..... yea... wtf happened? cosmic shift in the universe?Quote:

Let's just plan PC trailside for another night- maybe friday?
Lynx, I'd be down with the Quarry ride/stunty area later tonite - i've been through there before, and it's um, interesting:)
I'll give mrs. Lebowski a call too -
ok, sweet, is 6:30 too late for you?
No, that sounds good to me, but just saw that utsnowgirl said she may be up for a 'quick' quarry ride before(?) her Bridal shower- 6:30 may be too late for her,Quote:

i could probably make 6 if she wants to ride, but not much earlier since i have to run home first. 6:30 would still be ideal for me if possible for others. Otherwise i could just jam solo for the exercise and since i'll be out of town and not riding again till tuesday. we've got another 6 or so hours to figure our sheet out though. :)
I think I'm just going to head up right after work (assuming it doesn't rain grrr...) and do a quick Quarry ride. I think I can do the round trip in just over an hour. I'll probably be there around 5.
Not sure if I can make trailside on Friday, but maybe over the weekend before or after the Norba action.
Oh yeah, and I'm done with classes for the summer in 2 weeks, so I'll probably have to start riding 5-7 days a week, instead of 3-5. :)
k - i figured you had to go earlier... and you'd be much quicker on your own.Quote:

also, i rode the spine cleanly, the 'middle' line this time, working my way up to the tough ones.
Re, let's just do 6:30 -
Sweet!! Glad you had a good ride. I might be up for a Crest - Mill D ride on Friday during the day, but other than that, I don't think I'll get up there until next week some time.Quote:

True, pictures never do the line justice. Actually, I think the toughest part about the spine is that the consequences if you fall are bad. Maybe it's just because I have yet to wear pads (but they would be cute with my pink plaid skirt, huh?), but I have no desire to cheesegrater my body if I fall. :)
they would be cute with the skirt - speaking of - there's pink FOX gloves on sierratradingpost. also, kinda liking some skorts here:Quote:

(but no camo yet!)
yea, that's the best thing about the pads- i always get scraped up worse when I don't have them on.
Speaking of pink gear -
I have a brand new (with tag) Terry Damselfly (titanium rails, fairly narrow/race profile) that's pink. It didn't end up fitting as I'd hoped, and well, was the wrong pink to match the pink grips on my AS-X... :p
Retail is $110... looking for like $70.

Anyone interested in a ride Friday evening? I haven't been in town much in the last couple of weeks and I need to back in the saddle (literally). Maybe a Mill D Crest loop or something up near Glenwild (24/7, etc)? I get off work at 5:00 so I could be up to Kimball Junction/Mill D by 6:00. I think the hubby would want to come too. Hopefully the weather holds!
