While I would take the shorter line, I also have a duty to regulate that line. 183 bents get stomped on when seen. I have the support of a TAPOUT t under my hardshell when I go aggro so no worries there.
After watching the video it definitively looks like a doubles line on the side there and all the crowds in the long line are coming from the lodge. I can see why that dude got sensitive though. Poor form by aggro dude.

People ski to that side of the line, their loss. If there's some unspoken rule that everybody is supposed to magically know, then just say "Hey man, I know there's no sign, but the standard is that the entrance you're in is for when there's no line, so people don't have to go around." Sure, it takes more class, tact, and intelligence to do more than yell and rant, but it generally leads to not getting clocked in the back of the skull when you stomp of the skis of somebody with a shorter temper than Luffski. I guess you have to live outside the magical canyon of assbaggery to understand this.

But what is it with Internet rants and people losing jobs. I had a vid of a ski patroller cussing f bombs at me for being out of bounds and pulled my ticket. Did not like f bombs but I was poaching and got caught. This was a few years back and was over then. We were both wrong.
But I wonder if these situations would be different without video. I think the public opinion forces firing vs maybe some other discipline. I get it with Rodney king but dude, it's a lift line. Both people seem wrong to me, but again, I was not there.

Not to fuel this fire, but raw footage wont be put up. Im not putting that lift employees face up who told me to go back to the end of the line because I fear her getting ridiculed. There were 2-3 people that said stuff to me as I went to the back of the line. 1 of them is the dude clearly visible in the last section of video in a bright blue jacket. The other was a co-worker about 10 people back who just asked if I was ok. There was someone else yelling but I can't tell who it is from the video. I also am discussing things with PearljamEd as we schuss away from the scene that weren't yelled for all people in line to hear, so I would like to have some decorum and pass on posting more negative material. Tunco, why don't you appoint a loca SLC mag like SFB to view the raw footage in person if its a big deal. I see him and skinnypenem on a regular basis in my travels. Not much heckling from the public other the one or two people, otherwise there would be more aggro-douche footage.
