People like Musk because he's a visionary. Um, maybe because it's not possible at the moment to come out with an "affordable" awd car or SUV? Let's face it, even if they somehow make an "affordable" car, would you really buy something that has a 2-300 mile range? How would that work out for long trips?

Face it, if it was possible, the Chinese would be there, with Buffet's help.They've been trying real hard, since they have no oil and their air is unbreathable. Isn't happening until they invent the magic battery that doesn't exist. Then I'll think about investing in that pipe dream.

You know there are charging stations all over the place right? When was the last time you took a road trip? I bet there was a charging station along the way. There is one in Summit County. Sure if you travel the back roads of Utah you might not find one but in the places that the typical Tesla buyer travels they are around. We get it, you hate rich people.

OK, that's another thing about Musk. All the fan boys think he is such a visionary, but he's such a whore for government support and tax breaks. Everyone knows that this whole thing won't work without charging stations everywhere, but, who's going to build them? You and me, Jack, with our tax dollars. Let's not go near the massive infrastructure improvements our electric grid will need if this thing takes off. Who's going to fund that? Yup, you and me. Not him. He just shopped around his battery factory to the lowest bidder, and the people of Nevada got it up the ass on that one for, what, the promise of maybe a hundred jobs? And I live in a very upscale place where I see four or five Teslas a day, because the rich I hate can afford one for a fucking train station car, and I see zero charging stations. The only one I've ever seen was near my hotel in Glenwood Springs last winter. One. What good is it unless it's a few blocks from your destination. What, oh, dear, we're almost out of juice, dear. Let's stop at the charging station a few towns away and sit there for many hours to charge up. Right.

I could be wrong but I think the charging station in Summit was built by the owners of the outlet mall. To attract Tesla people to stop and get some Chipotle and maybe some chinos at 40% off.

A 50 mile commute in SF Bay Area to a company that provides charging cuts real cost of a Tesla Model S in half. A Nissan Leaf provides positive cash flow.

Another attempt to take out the lows at 1920 just got rejected. $INDU up less than 1% ytd.

And, funny thing how the Leaf, the "affordable" electric car, ain't selling for shit. Wonder why?
