Checking the telemetry this am very pleasantly surprised to see A ton of sticky new white sparkle instead of plain old rain.
Fingers X’d today/tonight will be a little bit less wet than forecast as lower BC is filled in nicely and holes n creeks are solidly filled

I see NWAC is reporting 19 inches at the Pass before it started raining this morning. Anybody get some last night at Central?
Nice stoke! It was weird being at East on Saturday instead of Alpental. First time in 10yrs. Got to take it easy on the Mrs. as she makes her return from ACL/MCL surgery. Forecast is saying 5-7" of rain in next 24hrs. Glad to hear the easterly flow held up last night. I was kicking myself I watched the crappy football game vs getting in some laps at Central. honestly surprised the power wasn't out earlier as last reading available is 4am but these wind gusts > 100mph are usually Crustal's domain.
doubt it moved that much snow because of mucho saturation but betting on some massive tree carnage.
Lot 4 chainsaw party to clear the snowload exploded trees from last weekend and wind knockdown from last night?
Got some gusts up to 76mph in Snoqualmie. No power.

Ski on laps at Alpy tonight for Japril spring snow, even off groomed. Mega chunder off the cat track in Meister/Eisfallen/Dom. Some pretty impressive chunks. If it gets cold tonight, I expect it will be skiing fast tomorrow morning.

Took the girls skiing mid day. 3 year old decided to have a meltdown of epic proportions. While carrying her kicking and screaming to the car she managed to kick me in the nuts with her ski boot right in front of 10 moms .

How bad is parking situation at Hyak with sled-mageddon? Tried to get there with one my littles a couple weeks ago and couldn’t even make it to exit off 90. Usually roll in later morning in previous seasons.
Guess my lazy game is no beuno this season. Might try and park at Silver Fir and do cross-over.
