Anyone going to the TGR premiere this Thursday in Sac? Pregame at Elixir 4PM 10th & S apparently.
One last plug for the Winter Stoke Throwback this Saturday, Nov 10th at the American Legion in South Lake Tahoe - party starts at 6pm. $5. Charity to Sierra Avalanche Center and SheJumps. We will have an airbag with scaffolding to jump off for people to throw gainers, corks, or some old school tricks. We will also have beacon training, so come early to train and stay late to party.

Any south lake mags want to rent a garage/driveway/place to park a snowmobile mid week. This is a paying gig.
I got space in Meyers. On a trailer? Send me a pm.
Oh yeah are you leaving the keys. ;)

I ended up with three spare tickets to the upcoming Snowbomb ski shows in Sacramento or Santa Clara. If anyone wants them, shoot me a pm with your name and address and I'll stick them in the mail to you.
Possible foot coming this Thurs Friday. The stoke is still high, even thought The City feels like Miami right now.
And they are all broken in, with a caked on black tar like substance, so they are worth more like pre stressed jeans, or something.
If BA is right, and everything goes as planned, I'll be up on Friday and Saturday. Who wants to ski? Anyone been out to CP/KW recently and can report on coverage post heat wave?
can't speak for carson pass yet, but kirkwood should be doing fine. It was deep up top and well consolidated, and they rolled most everything down low. plus, the sun is low in the sky and the days are short. i would assume at carson pass the stuff above pass altitude is doing okay, stuff below needs more.
If I can get a new touring rig setup, I'm planning on KW on Sunday. Of course, my kids could royally screw up this plan.
Wondering how crusty things will be on Friday, with this past week's warm up. It was hot again here today. Great weather. Anyone have any idea what the weather was like up on the crest the past few days? Dust on crust on thin base with low visibility would be more interesting than fun. I'm not sure how bad I want interesting.
I don't know about the crest, but it was 70 degree's at 5000'.
Hit 80 in Visalia today. Can't wait to get back up there Saturday.
Needed a bump from page 2...long range model for rest of the month gives me a woody.

I see a red map and I want to paint it black....
sounds good
Headed to north shore for the weekend...not gonna ski but are there any mtn bike open/rideable now?
Thanks guys...
now? yes.
this weekend? hopefully not
Fingers crossed........that this system over-delivers. Shooting for kwood or CP sat. Up north on Sunday.
woke up to blue bird skis and moderate winds this morning (approx 8:30 am). Then around 10 am it started to snow sprinkle, but it wrapped up and returned to blue bird skies by 10:50 am. Temps during this time were hovering in the low 40 range
Now, at 1:52 pm it has started to snow sprinkle again. The snow is very, very light, but it is starting to stick to the back deck. Winds are moderate again, which will no doubt affect the accumulation down low (as in here at T/D). Temps have dropped below 32 (at least according to the Old School thermometer attached to the back deck).
Will be interested to see where this goes today.
props to kirkwood for having the guns blazing to make some base out of the light stuff down low
4:31 pm: about an inch accumulated on the rail of the back deck @ the crib in T/D...wind is kicking in, too.
about 3" so far here on the west shore
I hope everyone has bread, milk, eggs what not because the weather channel just named this storm "Brutus" all hell is gonna break loose. WTF seriously?
CP looks like it will do ok.
