It was pretty fun inbounds @ kirkwood today. All the way, the butress, & fawn ridge were loading with some wind transported snow. Everything that wasnt wind loaded was a 1/2" crust layer over the heavy wet snow from Tue. Once things got cut up a little more in the mid day it skied a better. Cali chutes area looked primo but i`m sure the snow is variable.Quote:

I think I am going to ski CPSSR on Saturday and work on Sunday. I think the original route I described could be good - we might get an all day window with a hard freeze tonight and light south winds forecasted for tomorrow. Although, mini-AK-face could be glassy rain crust that may not let go, even in high 40 degree temps.
I'll be at KW on Sunday with my 10am-2pm window if anyone wants to ride lifts and complain about the conditions. Monday, I'll be riding Sugar Bowl. Transmission over.
