I'm so glad i booked my eurotunnel ticket last night.

Its going to be a whole week of storm skiing. The snowpack could be a little interesting though. freezing levels fluctuating from 2600 down to 400 and back up to 2600 again over a couple of days. We'll have to keep an eye on the avie risk.
I'm thinking engelberg could be sweeet on tues / wed. Greg, are you around wed/thurs ?

i'd say stay put. chamonix will get a goodly amount, if not more than anywhere else. switz will do fine as well. and considering it's basically falling on zero base, you might as well stick to your high altitude options unless you want to run groomers. i'll be at g3000 (running groomers) most likely.Quote:

Hey guys, my sister is coming to Europe in a few weeks (sorry, no naked pics, you sick bastards) she is a beginner snowboarder. She had planned on spending a couple of weeks in eastern Europe and then Austria for a couple of weeks. Given the piss-poor snow situation, any suggestions on alternatives for her? She doesn't need too much, just some nice beginner terrain, hopefully a nice village, and cheap.
