Anyone get above tree line in the jones pass area? What's the snow like? I fear it's all wind crust.
^ No pics MD, only went to the east butler bowl. Good snow below treeline!
We found good snow in the bowl that drops directly from the pass itself. Bit of a bitch to lap that area, but the snow was good.Quote:

The faucets turned on here in Steamboat vicinity about 7 this morning with already 4" on the ground. No wind here at the homestead but I live in the trees at roughly 7900ft. Temps holding steady at 22 deg. We look to be getting snow on and off for the rest of the week. Stoked.
