Maggettes, what are you skiing on this season?

Well it is snowing outside my window right this minute- Teton Pass looks nasty on the webcam, and I am about to pull the trigger on new Volkls over the phone at Colorado Ski and Golf (last year's Mantras $449 plus shipping!)

Quiver for this year looks like:

Karhu Jak BC 172 with Dynafit TLT- best powder setup ever (for me- at 5'6" and a dense 140)

Volkl Karma 169 with Fritschi- ski area board for cut-up snow, spring skiing

Dynafit FR 10.0 169 with TLT's- super-light backcountry ski- what I ski the least- am open to sell boards but not the binders

Atomic TMX 169 with TLT's- rock and spring/ volcano skis

Now want those 177 Mantras BAAAAD- have a new pair of Fritschis for them. Am trying to resist the Auras as the real deal sounds better. Have not demoed but I want a big fast swooping ski. No pictures right now, as camera is broken, but am typing fast so that I can resist the credit card leaping out of my wallet.

Love this thread, thanks for the ski suggestions ladies.

Here's my gear issue...I have larger muscular calves, a really high arch and instep, skinny heels and ski boots are the things that give me the most trouble. If i have my instep buckles too loose, my heels slip up and when they're tight enough to keep my heel down, my toes are numb in about 5 min (not due to cold, but to lack of blood supply). I've dealt with it for as long as i can remember, but with all the advances in gear technology...i feel like i shouldn't have to anymore. I currently ride Nordica boots and they are the first pair of womens boots that i've ever ridden. Used to race/am an agressive skiier, so i'm looking for a stiffer boot....any suggestions??

Shell-fit(1-1.3 fingers;-))...ya' gotta go after the boots that match up with your feet in shape....to some degree, go for snug heel pocket & room over instep....rest can be stretched/blown if bad comes to worse(which isn't that bad;-)

The priors do look really nice. Nothing new to add to my quiver this year, just wardrobe additions and things I've gotten rid of.

Yeah, I don't really do it justice with that pic, but the topsheet is super sweet. As someone that's done a lot of yoga, I especially love the Ohm/Bro. Just looking at it puts me in a nice frame of mind. :)

These are the 180-somethings (184?) and are mounted Dynafit as well.

As soon as my camera is back from the repair shop (damned lava dust!) I'll post up a photo of my quiver as well.
