1 group was Eli - Climbing Life Guides. They skiied from about 1/2 way. He reported variable conditions from sastrugi to pockets of powder.
Models still showing a pretty good storm that will stay N and E of Colorado mainly middle of next week followed by ridging again.

I’ve seen a bunch of moose on the west side of RMNP and Indian Peaks, only seen one on the east side though. Fingers crossed conditions get freshened up through early next week.

The group higher up were a couple of my buddies that work at the mnt shop here in town. They were saying full on spring conditions. I haven't been out since New Year's Day. Wishing I could get out more this month but trying to keep up with a bunch of stuff going at work right now. Trying to kick off construction in 9 weeks on a huge project I'm doing in town here so I've actually not minded the lack of snow so far this month. It's made it easier for me to sit at the desk when I'm not watching snow pile up...Quote:
