The Hitachi is like the elusive 100 mm set of skis that slays absolutely everything in all conditions. They float deep pow like a butterfly, slay moguls like a bouncy bunny weaving through a fresh boreal forest, melt an edge into impenetrable dry ice like a Head Magnum.
A true quiver of one. You may not always want to ski them, and skiing doesn't have to be spectacular to be fun, but when all else fails and you are on wobbly legs on your last run after leaving it all on the mountain, you click in because they will absolutely bring it home, everytime.
