Into my third day cat skiing at Great Northern Snow Cat….and today they opened some new zones for the first time. It was deep.
Three ski shootout between a Renegade, Volkl Revolt and HL R-one twenty.

I’ll post more when I’m done drinking and skiing. Too good a time here with a cat crew of ten good skiers to take time to put my thoughts down.
Hint: I’m selling one of the three, and you may be surprised.

Do I win a chicken dinner?
Good analysis gaijin. Bang on.
Keeping the Revolts One Twenty Ones for inbounds at Whistler (they are really fun inbounds) and the HL is epic for deep pow and cat. Thought I wanted an FR120, but the R120 rips too.
Selling the Ren simply cause the FR One Twenty does what the Ren does,
but is better in deep chop.

In Revelstoke now, drinking hazy IPA’s, will post a comparison of the R One Twenty and HB One Twenty Two and Renegade and Revolt when I get back home.

This pic was earlier today at Great Northern Snow Cat. Epic four days of pow with good vis.
They also opened a bunch of new territory so we skied some very steep, very cliffy, deep tree runs. Like thigh deep.
No pics as we were skiing fast to the cat each run.
The R One Twentys were pretty awesome in the steep trees in deep pow. Carving pow turns and schmearing through pillows was effortless.
The HB’s would have been really good too. Wish I had brought them.
