Arrived at fish camp rendezvous and found Djongo and Fugitive enforcing safety protocol around a nice campfire. Chef Fugi soon had steaks on the gridle, with baby potatoes and summer squash. Safety was again a hot topic after dinner around the campfire. Lola the pup was great company. Tomorrow we fish.

We ended up with 3 boats (2 drift boats and 1 raft with fishing frame) and 6 maggots. We decided to do 2 three person drift boats and leave the raft behind due to the high wind.

Harry made nice with the campground mistriss who send him over the river and through the woods for propane. Elk sausage deserves a nice pan sear and eggs n cheese. Lola lived her best life. My gromm nymphed white tuna all day. Had some eats on bwo dries but didnt seal the deal. Rocked a spin to win in dibb's honor but nobody pio'd thanks to our adherence to proper safety protocals. For not landing the big ones Team Jaxin Hole Prostaff sure had the rod bent everytime we floated by. Nice to meet you schwerty and kokomas next time we will bring the shitshow to your hood. DJongo you are welcome in my boat anytime.

That's my stomping grounds. That's some of the prettiest farm country in the whole damn world. Some of the best sharptail grouse country, too. Plus a few decent rivers. All those canyon fishing pics I post are from just a little ways west of this spot.Quote:
