$2.45 in va
$1.27/L in Whistler, BC, Canada.
So $0.87 USD per Liter
1 L = 0.246 Gallons
1 Gallon = 3.785 Liters
So $0.87 x 3.785 =
$3.29 USD per Gallon.... I think?
close...but your exchange is too favorable to the US. 1 CAD=0.764 USD so
$0.97 USD/L, $3.67/gal.
Locally the Costo/Safeway price is down to $2.85-90 or so. Shell/Chevron/Texaco seem to be in collusion though. Despite Oil being off nearly 30% since the end of June, their prices in my hood haven't budged a bit at any of these, still holding at $3.29.
RUG down to about ~2.50 at costco here in SLC.
Just filled the powerstroke up at 2.22 this morning though. That was nice!
This is my grandparents favorite game to play.
"Oh look, it's a penny cheaper at Thrifty!!".

Where did you find it for $3.50? That's really good for So Cal. Lots of places still over 4.00.
People are such sheep in CA. Imagine if gas prices in the rest of the nation suddenly jumped to CA prices. There would be rioting in the streets. We just accept whatever BS excuse the oil companies and our Govt. tells us. It's ENRON all over again, only with the State's blessing.
You understand the law of supply and demand, right? There's only so much refining capacity (much of it right next door to you) and we're not connected to pipeline infrastructure in the rest of the country. Couple that with a bunch of refinery outages this year, and you've got high prices. We also have the cleanest burning gas in the country (how long you lived in Long Beach? remember smog alerts?), but that's only a small part of the price response.
There's only so much the Legislature can do, but there's at least some movement to do something about it:

So... Mr. Wolf, what would you have us do?
Over by Wangchester a week ago.
Fredneck Costco wuz $2.38 a couple weeks ago.
BTW, next weekend is Brew Skies Beer and music fest in Canaan Valley at the Tline resort next weekend. I will be there pouring for Blacwater Brewery. And Stumptown is finally open in Davis!
The situation in Cali is purely due to a leftist government overregulated and overtaxed
I think you know me better than that. And I actually mentioned factors in my post that indicate that it's an imperfect market.
But within our current refinery parameters prices in CA are pretty close to what you'd expect. Refining capacity is tight. A bunch of refineries have gone down for periods this year. It's possible that there's something else at play, but if you read the news out here you'd see that it's largely related to refining issues.

And, hey, JG, go fuck yourself.
Bugger. Just rose to $1.36/litre here.
What's that.. approx $3.60US/gallon? Getting screwed out here on propane too. WTF?
3.55 in the Midwest due to some refinery incident. Was 2.45 in Boston.
My last purchase and fill up was at $2.40 a gallon. Just over $40 to fill up. Typical nickel off the pump price just a few miles from home, but many stations across the city are still showing $2.54 and slightly higher. The crude price market drops recently hopefully maintain or even go a bit lower come the end of summer travel season.
In CA we are conditioned to $4 gas, so anything below keeps us happy. Hopefully this winter I can buy Chevron premium for $3.50 per gallon and I will be a happy boy, as that is when I do most of my driving. For my next car I want a awd diesel that gets 40 mpg. I hope someone makes it for me someday at a reasonable price.
Why the hard on for chevron gas?
2.80-3.30 for Reg and 2.99-3.60 for premium (93.)
2.26/gal in north jerz
around 2.65/gal at the shore
Regular gas in Summit County, CO is like $2.72..... I love how the gas station at Copper Mountain just rapes the retards who come up to do the Warrior Dash. They are charging $4.15 for regular!!
Paid something relatively low yesterday... $2.29 I think. They kid pumping it said it was "the Iran malarky."
My girl is a high compression turbo engine. That said, I want the best gas for her.
Which gas station is the best?
As we mentioned earlier, not all gas stations serve the same gas.
The reality is that the oil is essentially the same, it’s the additives that each company adds, or doesn’t add, that makes the difference. Each has their own special blend and no one can say for sure which one is the best, although its regarded that Shell and Chevron are the leaders (and also typically the most expensive).
Top Tier is all about keeping engines clean. As far as fuel economy is concerned, it should perform identically to gasoline with lower levels of detergent, so don’t expect a big efficiency boost.
From a big-oil perspective Top Tier hasn’t necessarily caught on. Some of the largest players in the industry have adopted it including Shell, Chevron and Conoco, but not all.
ExxonMobile, the world’s largest oil refiner, is one of the companies onboard with Top Tier. All of their retail gasoline sold in the United States meets the standard, having received formal certification back in 2010.
Top Tier gasoline must contain more deposit-fighting detergents, it also must be sold at all of a fuel marketer’s stations and across all grades of its gasoline, from 87-octane regular to top-of-the-line premium. Additionally, to earn the seal of approval fuels cannot contain metallic additives, which are potentially harmful to automotive emissions-control systems.
Simply put, Studzinski said Top Tier gasoline is “a higher level of detergency, which keeps your engine running optimally.”
I'll still fill up occasionally at a Union 76 or Chevron for their gas detergent additives.
Shell gas at the local station used to fuck up my Jeep's injectors.
Techron, baby!
Saw $2.78/gallon in Oregon yesterday and almost fainted.
$2.50 last nite in Fredneck Md
WTF...the news says gas prices are going down...and in town today it's the highest it's been in months at $2.999...Double WTF.
Just read a report that AAA thinks as prices might get down into the $1.00 range this year. Not seen since 1999.
Crazy.
You need $15 crude to see $1 gas anywhere. It could happen.
Crude down 5.5% today and gasoline only down 1.5%.
Look at that Brent wti spread.
Brother called to let me know he just filled up his ride at $1.56/gallon yesterday. Crazy!
I pay 1.67.
Just over 37 bucks to fill up my truck.
Diesel down to 1.69 at the only Costco with diesel in UT. They have 50 cents on the next cheapest station in SLC.
$1.84 here in central mass today. Made me want to look into buying a tank and stockpiling!
