I'm still looking for the Danny Gatton stuff to get rediscovered, remastered, and re-released on a Criterion worthy CD collection.
My favorite U2 album is "October." All of their albums up to and including Achtung Baby were great. I don't care if you agree or not. Disclaimer: I have recently fallen out of love with them, and did not see them live for the first time since 1982 when they played in my town last year. Bono is just too much to take.
Underrated: Bauhaus, Joy Division (I was listening to both in the car yesterday driving home from New Jersey.)
Overrated: Oasis
Underrated: the Band playing Sat night at a bar near you!

agreed- I really have no interest in paying hundreds to see big bands in big arenas where you are drawn to a huge video monitor because you can see them better that way- versus a great local or indie band in smaller venue where you can get within 20 feet and get the personal connection.Quote:
