Passes: Eldo and 5-mountain (and hopefully some free days at WP/Copper if the chick pulls through). I would like to mention that I paid less for all this than the smallest price tag for any multi-day skiing adventure in my short time on this Earth. It sucks to have been ripped off. But it feels friggin' great to milk the system... (I like being a quasi-local... :) )
Gear: Just got some 179 PE's in the plastic for 250. Looking for binders. Maybe skins and Freerides for my Blue Noodles. Getting Avy I in Dec. and surely want to be able to put it to use...
Actually, I meant to ask if I could fucking touch you.Quote:

Passes:
Colorado Pass
Loveland Pass
Berthoud Pass
Monarch Pass
Guanella Pass
Vail Pass
Wolf Creek Pass
Rabbit Ears Pass
Red Mountain Pass
Teton Pass
Gear:
For an appetizer, start with two cuts of the Beast, size 26.5, served rare and still red.
For a first plate, seperate the R-8s off the old skinnies, slice the 914s off the old fatties, add patchouli and granola, and I have a "new" Teledaddy/R-8 combo.
Next, add one other unused pair of late season scored Teledaddys, sprinkle in one stashed pair of Freerides, mix firmly, bake at 420, and then season to taste, and I have a "new" Teledaddy/Freeride combo as well.
Finally, poach two eggs and flip each with a clean pair of newly purchased spatulas, then garnish with the 914s, and I have a "new" Spatula/914 combo to finish the meal.
Needless to say, I am stoked.
Now it just needs to snow.
And how.
Renewing the pass to Kwood. Still may get a local one too because of the 4-day work weeks.
No equipment planned until something breaks, which should be early in the season.
pass: mammoth
gear: not sure yet but contemplating a new alpine board.
Pass: AltaBird/Solitude Employee
Gear: snow tires, must replace my clothes, will prob go to swaps and see what else I find.
pass: squaw
gear: hopefully i'll some how make due with the 8 pair of reasonably new skis i already own. my skins are covered in coal dust from skiing next to the cog last spring though. so i'f i cant clean those, i'll just convince slim to buy a sled and tow me.
darkside: those homewood pases are only $100? i love homewood.
Pass: Smugglers Notch
Gear: Some really cheap somewhat fat twintips. I would get something nice, but I need a hardtail first
I skied for about 22 years and then stopped completly and boarded for the last 4 years. I was a pretty solid skier at the time but I have no idea how I will be now after that break. I'd love to go for some dual sport days at Alta and the Bird. :biggrin:Quote:

Loveland pass only this year. Probably won't do the WP/MJ/Copper pass this season.
New Compatriot snowboard plus the Chubbs I picked up late last season plus KD's Stomps (which ROCK)
Yep, $99 Mon-Thurs pass, though you can generally get most days, especially powdah days. I figured out that it's better to ski the whole moutain at Homewood rather than just Roundhouse/Red Dog/etc. anywhere else on a storm day. I've been too lazy to call, but they do sell out, not sure if they're still available.Quote:

Just bought my first pass (to Crustal, as mentioned earlier in this thread) in 4 years!!! I'm pretty stoked. Now the only thing to get over is the 2-hour drive each and every time I go ski....
but other than that, I'm looking forward to skiing a lot for the first time in awhile.
Big Sky/MLB pass. Maybe a couple of days at BB and a day the the Y/C.
New pair of either Scratch B/C or B4s or Tellie Daddies, I bought new T-1s last spring before the price went up. Also a pair of BigStix 84s under the bed from 2 years ago will get drilled with O2s and I will put the G3s back on my old 84s for work/touring skis.
Pass Snowbird or Solitude
Skis Line prophet 130 thanks Vicious mounted with mad flex 9
Get my Salomon Courst 120 that I got at the end of last season worked on. thanks to APD.

Pass: Snowbird an Park City
New Gear: Gotamas
Skiin' mostly BC across the west, but as always I choose the quality over quantity pass for CO when I'm resort bound... aka the Winter Park/Copper Pass. Gettin' the new B3's for the resort sticks & some fat mo' fo' as yet to be decided for the BC.
