I am referring more to the latest updates on airlines and the "there's no snow out my door so I'm not going skiing" BS. Actual reports of skiing are much appreciated as well as forecasts.

I'm hitting Red Rocks dawn patrol if there's 20" out there
Back to weather...any chance this Tuesday storm gives us decent snow as I think it'll be NW flow?
9News is saying 12-20" for Front Range Foothills.
Someone needs to get some sunrise pow pics at Red Rocks!!
22" at the house when I got home from Breckenridge. Nothing like spending 2 hours snow blowing after a long day skiing. As far as how it will ski.. .wish there was a little base under it. Could ski the road I guess.
Thinking a ride down North Table Peak with the rock board. Golden's got 20" so far.
I thought Copper skied well today - mostly hit the back, Copper Bowl. Still a few rocks around (Sth'ly aspect) so you have to watch a bit. Some nice shots of untracked with patrol doing directed skiing. Strangest thing was seeing the front of the mountain absolutely empty at 1pm. Half the chairs on Super-B were empty and those with people only had 1-2 per chair.
I did a pretty sweet 3.5hr tour of I-70 from the cabin of the Subaru after 2pm. Not to be missed!
It took me almost 10 minutes to get home, had to stop for a pedestrian.
Denver friends just left 10 minutes ago to try and miss the fun. A smart move if possible. Don't miss that I70 crawl, you guys are troopers.
Little more snow Tues and Thurs. Weekend looks sunny and warm.
Woke up this morning & wanted to go to one of the vail resorts. snow reports were disappointing. Checked webcam at eldora and it was fucking dumping. 5 inches fresh reported. Made the drive up Boulder canyon which was a shitshow but definitely not an I-70 type of shitshow. Dumped all day and the mountain was relatively empty. Free refills all day. 8-10 inches of blower on most aspects. No wind to speak of. About 12 inches by the end of the day.
Great storm for the very dry front range mountains
Hearing from a friend's parents who live somewhere between black hawk and Nederland that they have a good 30" and still coming.
Apparently a RTD bus slid off the road heading up to Eldora? Can't find anything besides stories from 2012s big dump.
saw no busses off the side of the road but the canyon was a mess
I wouldn't doubt it. Absolutely dumping when I went through there this morning and still snowing on the way home. There was easily 18-24" off the roads in the unplowed pull outs. Heard knee deep in the bear lake area today. Should be an awesome few days around here for sure. Not much wind still with this storm and super light fluffy snow.
Best day I've had in a couple years at Highlands today. Found a few short untracked spots that were well past knee deep. About a foot in the driveway in Lakewood tonight.
A-basin was insufferable yesterday. Even shut down Pali lift. Surprisingly found some hip deep in the trees at Keystone. The worst part of 70 was watching people being extricated from a Jeep on it's roof.
Do not underestimate the power of scotch. When my friend John Huston was filming the African Queen, everyone in the cast and crew got dysentary. Except for Humphrey Bogart because he only drank scotch and never touched the water.
Speaking of fishing, I used to go marlin fishing with your father. These were the good days, when you would see your first marlin within 10 minutes of leaving your moorings. The water as you left the Havana harbor was clear and blue. He was a fine fisherman. Nowadays they make tackle that allows anyone who can walk up a flight of stairs carrying a quart of milk, to land a 500 pound fish. But this was not the case in the good old days.
After the fishing we would drink rum and I remember him telling me that although you were only a baby he didnt have much hope for you. He expected you would pass your adult life working in either a chemical factory or a liquor store.
I am pleased to see you have exceeded his expectations.
Monarch was pretty damn good yeseterday. Dumping for most of the day. On the downside, I'm pretty sure I tore my ACL (knee popped with a backwards twisting fall - backslapped and caught an edge on landing). Getting it checked out by the doc this week hopefully. I tore it on the second run, but it was feeling pretty good so continued skiing for most of the day, but definitely toned it down. Got in 4 real great laps at Mirkwood after the tear.
Here was one of the best runs, with faceshots all the way down, though it was pretty much like this all day in Mirk.
