Looking for a mid weight glove with padded knuckles and ideally some protection onto fifth and fourth fingers. Similar to leatt 4.0 lite but with a little thicker actual glove material.
My perfect glove with be a combo of the glove weight of a cross-x from saline with the padding profile of the leatt4.0.
Anything come to mind?
Perfect! Sounds like collective answer is “you’re gonna die unless you upgrade to WAO unions,” and safety is my only excuse for new purchases at home these days…
Now say I also, hypothetically, can’t build my own wheel, and don’t really intend to learn this minute. Buy the new rim and pay to get it laced up, or buy the complete wheel? My current i9 1/1 hub is perfectly fine, but could try to fix this wheel for a backup as suggested…

I gave up on mtn bike gloves for work gloves, I can punch walls with them or tag a tree, no leather so I don't have to treat them & they don't stink just thro them in the washing m/c and they don't seem to wear cheap at only 28 can$Quote:

I bought for bike park, then I bought 3 more pairs on clearance and use them on any enduro ride that isn't super hot.
I've tried almost everything. POC, Fox, TLD, Leatt.... These kick the living shit out of Fox Bombers for comfort and kick the shit out of everything else for protection. Fairly priced at $55. POC has their similar glove at $90.

To offer a counter opinion: soft grips absolutely destroy my hands. My hand mushes all over the place with soft grips, which makes me hold on tighter to retain good control, which nukes my hands pretty quickly.Quote:

Are 27.5+ bikes totally dead? Someone locally has a 2019 Trek Fuel EX 27.5+ women's for sale . I don't know much about 27.5+ bikes , but don't see them much and don't want to pick up a dead end bike for the wife since whatever she gets she will use for a long time .
