There were at least 3 sheriffs or other agency cars in the restaurant parking lot all night. It was rumored the shooter was caught in Tahoma on 6th street but now I'm also hearing he is still at large. Apparently it was two employees of a Sunnyside restaurant in a fight. They had a connection to someone at Swiss Lakewood
Bear Valley usually. I'm not sure about post fire, but pre fire Sierra was the obvious place for everyone to ski on the way home from Tahoe so Sundays were a busy day. But Sierra is 1.5 hours closerQuote:

I’ve parked at blue lakes a couple times this year, I didn’t notice a sign, but I didn’t notice the one in the meiss lot either. Can say there was an old bus converted into a camper that was parked there for a couple weeks though.
