Yeah. Comp skis need to be driven.
Like I tell my kids. Every ski has a personality.
Feel what the ski wants when you demo.
If you don’t like that style it’s not your ski.
Chargers need to be bitch slapped and ridden hard. You tell them what to do and it’s awesome.
I’ve had several chargers that changed my game.
Super nobis and legend pro started that transformation
If you take a comp skier and put them on a noodle. They need to dial back and feel what the ski wants.
But there is a middle ground. Old man charger might be the name.
Circling back to the fr110 the lack of camber with some FR stiffness sounds awesome. I’ve had stiff skis with camber and if you don’t load them in every turn it’s a bucking bronco. Same with way too light DPS carbon.
Heading back to the lift should be relaxing after snacking the good fresh shit in the woods.
