To the groomer point, it is mostly a point being kept alive in this thread by everybody saying that it is not a problem, and thus - since "not" cannot be processed wrt memory, people remember that "wasn't there something about BGs and groomers and sucking?". If we could change the incredulity of people having to figure out how to ski them on groomers to just stating repeatedly "two foot arcs ftw" then the myth will probably die rather quickly as I think everybody is in agreement here - they do fine on anything other than bulletproof. :)
To the washing out point, the integral part of the description is to drive them hard through the shovels, which will make the tails wash out. Drive them from a centered, balls of your feet stance, no problemo. I just think we are doing a spectacular ski a disservice if we oversell what type of skier/skiing it works well for.
