Powow: If he sees a logline for a given IP address at 11:10, and there's a a post from phUnk at that same time (adjusted manually for time differences between his server and the TGR server) then he can deduce that phUnk's IP address is whatever his server logged.
Now, if he sees a logline some time later for that same IP address but for "concerned maggot," then he can deduce they are the same person.
But, there are all sorts of problems with that mechanism. He only gets one-minute resolution from the forums server, images get cached by browsers, etc, etc.

His doodad logs an IP and time that page 2 was accessed (or any other page, if that image is on that page). You can view page 2 at a much different time than when you post, especially if he was actually reading all the replies...Quote:
