Congratulations!
Just wanted to bump this for a small update. Bridger has been recieving quite a bit of early season snow, and the book had a small mention in the Powder photo annual. Still plenty of books left http://www.stepping-up.net Hopefully everybody is enjoying some fresh snow, and having a good season. Thanks.
On this whole issue of it exploiting the Ridge.... I think its a bullshit claim:
1 - hiking bridger is already one of the most known resort hikes i can think of. it's no secret in the skiing community. I skied bridger when i was 14 with my family and even i heard about hiking it. I was in no way "in the loop."
2 - no one is going to do the hiking that already wasn't going to do it in the first place. at best this is a tool for folks that deserve to use it and a coffee table piece for everyone else.
3 - this sort of elitist attitude is crappy. really really crappy. bottom line.
Thanks for the support.Quote:

Its been a while since this puppy has seen the light of day. But it's time!
The pallet of 2nd Edition books is sitting in the garage. For the 2nd edition, we have increased the # of images in both the photo insert and body of the book, as well as made revisions to accurately reflect changes that have taken place at Bridger since 2005. And no, there is nothing on Schlashman's and there is not a plan to do so anytime soon.
If you would like to order a copy see http://stepping-up.net/purchase.html OR check the shops in Bozeman in a few days.
Lastly, here's a few mentions on various sites. Thanks for everyone's support!
