Bump cause I'm out if I don't find a ride by the end of the day. :(
Just me and dawg. Mrs. Frizzo can take my bike and camping gear.
In addition to gas I'll buy you some Pork Rinds and a huntin' magazine when we jump on 6.

If I was sure I was going, I'd be happy to offer you a ride, but I won't know until next week.
It'd be tight, but I think we could fit 3 people, 2 dogs and 2 bikes in the Soob...maybe.
We don't know when we're headed down either. And Mr.AG is swamped with work so he probably won't know until late next week.
The other problem is that it would be you squished in with 2 dogs in the back seat of the truck. Which could work... sorta. The bed will be full with camp gear so the dogs have to ride inside.
I just wish we knew when we were going for sure.
Thanks for the hustle, y'all. Christy's boss is bugging her to figure out if she wants to take a state car down or not, so maybe she can just take our car in case someone has room next week. And if not I'll just shred locally.
Thanks again,
J-
Maybe you should just shred locally at THE BIRD!!!
Looking foward to a bike trip for sure. I'll definitely make it there. But I'll be arriving late friday night. So CS if you get a big enough site that has some room left, call me when you are in town.
Will do.Quote:

I know dude. But I might have to move my wife to Cali...she is freaking out with nothing to do here. Heh. But if we move her out there sooner...maybe. but, most likely, it's like, dude.
She won't come to Moab? Even if she doesn't ride at all - Lexi always ends up doing some hiking with the dogs and camping is always fun. Any chance of that?Quote:

No reservations - it's all first-come first-serve. (It's free too). But I'll PM you directions. What day are you showing up?Quote:

You know that one place by that big rock thingy? I got dibs on it.
And if around 4:00 AM a random vehicle cruises through your tent yelling "kill the wabbit!!!!" Don't worry, it's friendly fire.
Not if we get there first! ;)Quote:

We'll work on the Mrs for sure...fingers crossed! She should be able to put up with a bunch of bike geeks for the weekend after I've put up with a bunch of med students for 4 years! Sheesh...
Are any of you familiar with any sport routes around Moab? I hear that the sport climbs are either seriously lacking in number and / or lacking in quality. However, I've only got a sport rack at the moment, working on building the trad.......Quote:

Go to Wall Street, more sport routes than you can shake a stick at.Quote:

Damnit! I'm out.
I was talking to CS this weekend at the Mammoth mini and he reminded me that I'm a moron.
CS: So we'll see you in Moab next weekend, right?
Me: Next weekend? Shit! I knew it was coming up, but not that soon.

And in my greater stupidity, I managed to set up conflicting plans. So I'm out. Maybe this is a good thing though since I haven't been on my mountain bike in 6 months or so. I can just see the carnage now...
Anyway, I'm sure I'll make it out there again this year. Have fun, folks!
6 months? I've been on my bike twice in the last 7 months. You do realize it's the end of winter and there is a large contingent of skiers and boarders here right? Right?Quote:

This kinda blows...once again, i cannot go.
And no CS, it's not because of him...
I'll be attending a very boring college graduation for my sister, followed by a BBQ with the whole family on Saturday.
Edit: I did ride the shoreline yesterday. I hurt today. That would be my second ride in 7 months.
yuck, you guys stink. Who is still in? Better yet who is riding?
CS is on his way there
Frozen
Bobmc
myself
skimonkey
yenta
skiingbear
AGs
bagtag?
others?
CS i should be bringing at least one other rider with me, hopefully 2, with plans for Porcupine on Saturday and a shuttle back.
Possibly throw out ride possiblities with meet times for Saturday, just in case we wind up scatered all over Moab?
