then we cracked a couple PBRs at the bottom and headed up to some $$$ powder in the steep northfacing trees. Could barely we scored about another 1500' of untracked that long after the storm.
Emerald Bay chutes were awesome today, perfect corn.
Didn't get out in the BC this weekend but snapped a few photos while at Sierra with my kiddies.

Actually Frog Lake Cliffs is another north facing ridge just slightly (about a mile or so) northeast of Castle. Frog Lake is found on most maps of the area. The cliffs are the steep pillow lines and coulies that drop to the lake.Quote:

Yes, I did go from Echo, but the way in from twin bridges actualy looked way easier. I met this dude at the top that came in that way with 2 kids and it looked much easier that way, He said that he used to go in from the Leaf 30 years ago. From Echo it is long but mostly flat.Quote:
