To the issue of the leash attachment...
Fristchi very much did consider that metal loop for leash attachment. There is a channel in the mold that perfectly fits the metal cable. When I was switching my vipecs between skis I took a photo. Attachment 258359
Wish they could have included that in the manual, it's way more streamline and less sketchy than putting it through the toe lever.

Ok here goes,
Did a quick and dirty plank mount of the tectons to see if the my radiums would have issues
I mentioned a friction under the toes in walk mode. The tip of teh soles rub over the metal plate while pivoting forward:

Its not much and i really don't know if i'd notice it with the swingweight/momentum of walking or if i'd ever stride that far. Just wondered if anyone else noticed this.
You can easily push past even with the hand. Full extension:

This seems like a non issue, and if you decide it is an issue then a quick 69 seconds with a file should sort you out.
Tecton toe filed a.bit for.nickel...I dont take off much.

Has anyone played around with bending them inwards a little?
1) is it just funky light or uploading/lens issues that makes your edge seem a bit crooked?
2) I think Fritschi would approve of use of light blue accents over the orange one in this case ;) #euromatching
3) I have never bent the brakes on Vipec blacks or Tectons in, only out, but i have never had any issues with them catching or deploying when they shouldn't. It happened once on Vipec Whites due to the interior of the heel binding getting clogged up with snow before I knew how to get it back out, so not through anything caused by the brakes.
4) I've had on fall when I came out of the back, but not the front. It did not cause any issues and was due to me taking a spill at the bottom of run in fresh after loosing my balance in my final turn. I was a bit surprised, but no harm no foul right? I cannot remember the mechanics of the spill, but after more than 100 days on them by now I have just about 0% uncertainty of both Tectons and Vipecs releasing as they should.

Got to admit, you had me freaking out a little there when i saw that at work :D. It's the picture/light/angle/lens/whatever. Checked it when i got back and can see nothing with the naked eye except for the camber that goes all the way under all the binding way further back.
;) Figured as much, but still - thought I should ask. When I saw the pic I was like "... that seems a bit strange...", but glad to hear that everything is a-ok! :)
