Shit man, my gf has a "piece of shit" Kia whatever the small econobox is. She drives the hell out of it, 225k miles, oil changes every 12k miles, 30 mpg at 90 mph... fucker just keeps on doing its thing! It's even geared so it doesn't really feel slow. I actually did a little research on those recently cause I was behind a nice one the other day in town. Nice looking. I prefer the older sl models. Test drove a 450sl 83 I think? Was cheap, and ran reasonably well, but would have nickled and dines me to death. Plus I know the the e30 platform much better, so when that one came along I jumped on it.

My dad is into those and had one for about 5 years. It was a cool car, but I think he decided to sell it when the it was time for a new convertible motor and top which was gonna cost more than the car was worth. I think it was $8k or something.Quote:
