Stole another mint Gen 2 19. Didn’t want to, but the price was so low it offended me.

So how much was it? I want to see how much we get ripped off in CA.
I recall AIMSurplus had Glock turnins Gen 2 for around $375. They had .40 cal and 9mm.
Most barely used or NIB. :fmicon:
Those are police trade ins, mostly NYPD, I have one. Shot very little but obviously carried a lot. Big difference.
This was 399, looks unfired. 1995. If had scored the manual it would fetch 600 easily.
Although not rare, probably the best, most desirable Glock made. Personally though, I like the 2007-2009 vintage the most. With the “frying pan” finish.

I saw some 17 trade ins for $375 this week. The guy said he was having a hard time selling them and was sitting on a pile.
On a related note, sportsman's outdoor superstore is selling trade-in good condition P229 NR's in .40 S&W for $369, free shipping. I bought one last year for the same price and it's a sweet shooter. Great condition, too.

Anyone know how to get some live grenades?
It was just a thought. People collect them. I drew #247 in the draft lottery and the chance to salute, shoot and die has passed me by.
A beat up gen 2 17 for 380 is not worth it. AIM has them.
I’ve got a Kentucky State Police marked g35 on it’s way for 399. Matching box and excellent condition. Will put a sig 357 barrel in it. Should push 1500 FPS with a 124 gr.

It was BECAUSE of my old mans exploits that he didn't want me to serve in Nam. Capt Shunstrom got 2 Silver Stars, 2 Purple Hearts, a Croix de Guerre and a Croix du Combattant before he got a bogus Dishonorable Discharge courtesy of Military Justice and if he hadn't died a drunk I'm sure he would have agreed with my pop to keep my ass out of Nam. OTOH, if it was a war that was entered under the terms of the American Constitution their advice might have been different. Funny how people will hold the 2nd above and often at the expense of all the others.
Anyway, no leads, links or advice for me?
I am looking for some suggestions. I picked up a Mossberg JM Pro Series - For my future 3 gun compititions. Anyway, when I shoot up in the back country the road is rugged. Things might hit the roof that are not bolted down. How do I carry a Shotgun or Rifle in a Jeep Cherokee so it's protected from flying and flying objects. First instict is GUN RACK. But like no one does that anymore.
You could also slow down on rough roads.
But yeah, I like a hard case for scoped weapons and soft padded gun cases for holo/red dots.
Some nice scabbards out there.
Example: https://www.scabbard.com/store/
And as noted secure the load.

Speaking of truck guns, I picked this one up last year on a whim and to live mostly in the truck - Ruger American Ranch in 7.62 commie. Topped with a Bushnell 3200 2-7x32 in Warne's, this could fly around the inside of the truck without much harm and be used as a jack handle if need be. Although it sits real nice in between the seat and center console.
My intention is to not reload for it since plinking ammo is cheap and it shoots Hornady black box and Federal Fusions pretty damn nice.
