It was hot enough yesterday that I burnt my shoulder to the point it blistered by carrying some T posts that had been laying in the sun! It was somewhere between 95 and 102 at that point.
If we can get it down to the low to mid-60s by morning, we can batten down the hatches and generally stay below 80F during the day inside. But yeah - those window fans help a ton during the hottest part of the summer.Quote:

Our eves overhang enough to block sunlight during the heat of the day so our house stays pretty cool. For not having AC it is a pretty good setup.
