You can definitely tell we are in March, though. A zipper crust was already forming from just a short blip of sun — nothing we skied, but we crossed some of it.

Lots of "best day of the season" moments over the last 7-10 days, in an already strong season.
Started out -10F this morning (sun had been up an hour!) but I spent most of the day skinning in a short-sleeve t-shirt. Areas I thought would have been sun-affected held 6" of dry powder, so I altered my plan. Puzzled about that one but will take it.
My ski partner & I didn't see another soul in 8h.
