Hm, I wonder whether my professors would believe it if I told them I had to take the next 4 days off of class.

If I left tonight, and this storm blew out at the right time, I could make it to Loveland by tomorrow night.

I wish I had those Lawnchairs in hand right now(all my stuff is in NH, supposed to be getting a free gear thread hookup) because if I'm not out there tomorrow, I'm going to be kicking myself at work.

I'm not sure it's feasible... the flight leaves about 2 hours to early, and I can't find a cheap one back earlier than Monday (Sat/Sun are all booked up :().

How odd... In Summit County I70, Dam Rd., and Swan Mtn are all closed. This is the first I remember East Summit (Keystone/A-Basin/Silverthorne/Dillon) and West Summit (Frisco/Breckenridge/Copper) being cut off from each other... it also means there is absolutely no way to access Keystone unelss you live in East Summit or Kremmling.

ok, so it looks like game on for tomorow......if i dont go up im gonna bug out....probably end up leaving super early to ensure arrival for first bell...

only thing is weather or not im gonna do a full day...i kinda have to see my fucking advisor to get this block off my shit so i can register for spring classes....so i may only ski till about 11 unless its still insane all day...

im so stupid..

Just talked with Summit, Props to him for stepping up with skis, but they're in Keystone which probably isn't going to help me coming from Colorado Springs without knowing if the pass is going to be open.

Put on the boots and helmet and do the bar crawl! $214 is a cheap stormchase for anyone in the midwest. You'll only question the price tag before you leave. If I hadn't just gotten back from vacation today I'd be on a plane in the morning. Lookin forward to the pics tomorrow night. Yeah, that's good news. I'm going to wake up early and see if Route 9 will be open to Breckenridge. If I70 is still closed I'll try that route in the morning. If I70 is closed, I'll go to Breck.

im gonna wake up super early and check the road scenario and snow and whatnot...

telechuck, i dont want to promise you a ride cause im not 100% for sure yet....mainly depends on the roads in the AM and cause im probably gonna only ski till 11 or 11:30 if i do go...

it was insane today, inspite of the 70 mile an hour gusts. and the 5 hour trip home, breck to silverthorne, a 30 minute drive.

So how long will it take to get to Breck from Downtown Denver using 285 to Route 9? Never had to take that route to get to Breck during a major storm. About 2 hours?
