Hm, I wonder whether my professors would believe it if I told them I had to take the next 4 days off of class.
If I left tonight, and this storm blew out at the right time, I could make it to Loveland by tomorrow night.

How odd... In Summit County I70, Dam Rd., and Swan Mtn are all closed. This is the first I remember East Summit (Keystone/A-Basin/Silverthorne/Dillon) and West Summit (Frisco/Breckenridge/Copper) being cut off from each other... it also means there is absolutely no way to access Keystone unelss you live in East Summit or Kremmling.
I've got a sled. I can access anything JONG!:fm:Quote:

I'm sitting in the athletes center like an idiot, not in my room or my house, because I can't get away from here...
Summit- what length are those PR's. 80's is probably as narrow as I'd go.

Just talked with Summit, Props to him for stepping up with skis, but they're in Keystone which probably isn't going to help me coming from Colorado Springs without knowing if the pass is going to be open.
Ahhhhh, Madtown. Go have one or twelve at Buck's, the Rathskeller, the Pub and the Essen Haus for me. If you're really feeling sassy, do the State Street horseshoe. One drink at every place that serves booze on both sides of the street. Start at the campus end, go up one side to the capital, then come back if you still can stand. I think it ends being something like 37 drinks. Of course, that was back in the paleolithic era when I was there.Quote:

Yeah, that's good news. I'm going to wake up early and see if Route 9 will be open to Breckenridge. If I70 is still closed I'll try that route in the morning. If I70 is closed, I'll go to Breck.
Phish, what time you gettin up?
Looks like I'm gonna see how healed up I am tomorrow.See you out there!
I will definetly be at breck since it looks like A-basin will be inaccessable.
Can hardly sit still- im vibrating.
All you girls know my number. Evil, phish, and BZ need to communicate. Call me tonight or in the AM. Carpool yall.
Oh yeah, you too Freshies.

So how long will it take to get to Breck from Downtown Denver using 285 to Route 9? Never had to take that route to get to Breck during a major storm. About 2 hours?
I can offer rides if need be.
Brett, we'll meet up if possible. Does Evil E live downtown?
Considering you live like 30 feet away from me, you better sack up tomorrow. :biggrin:Quote:
