I'm sure there is a lot of that going on. Not surprising considering the immigration issue probably won Trump the election. It is tempting to take it out on the ICE crew, but they didn't create the situation.

If someone signed up for or transferred to ICE because they honestly believed the recruiting pitch about rounding up violent criminal immigrants, and then they find themselves out in the backcountry lining firefighting crews up and arresting them, they could quit. They also don't need to double down by threatening the rest of the crew.

I drove Hwy 82 down to Glenwood to see my grandson yesterday. There were multiple fires in the median just past Carbondale. Fire Department was just showing up and they got it under control quickly.
It appeared to be someone dragging a chain from the multiple ignition points, covering about a 1/4 mile.
So easy to start, takes a lot of manpower to control.
Drove through the “99 Fire” yesterday. A small grass fire on both sides of hwy 99 just south of Galt. Seemed to have ignited from something car related. Interesting to be on both sides of the highway.
Looks like Chinese Camp is mostly gone :(
