Merlin Extralight, the last road bike I will ever buy.
Honda lawnmower, if it dies before I do, I'm contacting that work out.

This will strike a chord with very few, but…

…and no, it's not just a truck. It's a Marmon.
Isn't an end of life purchase call buying the farm?
I actually thought this thread was going to be about icemans first trip to the store to buy adult Depends.
Wow, I must be hard on mine. I buy a new pair of these every spring for the past 20 years. They'll probably bury me in a pair so there's your end of life gear connection I guess.

You have a fridge?
Marmom, no
Oops cut off....
Marmons are totally badass
Stanley Bedrock planes, Ray Iles mortise chisels, FKS 18s, Persimmon carving mallet
That truck looks awesome.
Well that's what I was trying to get at.
I've never been on Pinterest, but AFAIK this thread is pretty comparable.

What, no Carhartt jacket to go with the Sorels/Columbia/Bean boots?

Beatles mono box on vinyl.
Just remastered at Abbey road, outrageous quality and cheap at $300 list for 13 records.
Amen. I love em, but have to buy a new pair every year at least.
Now, as for as slippahs go, these last me at least 5-7 years:

Speaking of flip flops, I have a pair of Olukai Hiapos that are now about 6 years old and just getting more comfortable every summer. Some of the best footwear I own.

Yeah, the dude wearing them for 20 years must weigh about 50lbs. I pretty much rock boat shoes year 'round and would destroy the sperry's inside of 6mo. Switched to timberlands a couple years back and they wear much better - i get a year out of a pair - but they come with a shitty fabric footbed that has to be ripped out and replaced with a leather one.
Just got Michelin Defenders for my Forester, but I had to think twice about whether i needed 90,000 mile tires, especially since I have snows for the winter. The tires will probably outlast both me and the Suby. When I reroofed I passed on the 40 year shingles--I definitely won't be reroofing again.
I did the defender thing on my Suby, too. First time I ever took a tire back through Discount Tire's exchange program. Did not throw them through the window granny style, but I opted for the Pirelli P7 Cinturato and am much happier. The Defenders made a humming noise while turning at speed. Hope you don't have the same issue.

I should have clarified the use for the Marmon.
It looks like that rig would tear apart a 5th wheel!
Ice asks for stuff that are end-of-life purchases and the dumbasses here post pictures of their fucking frat boy topsiders. What the Jesus Fucking Hercules Christ.
How about some tumi luggage or Schott leather?
It will out live you.
If I bought a Honda Element it would definitely be an End-Of-Life purchase.
Cause I would kill myself.
