haahah, Here is the video
I come out of lurker status to post this video.
God damn I hate CNN.
[QUOTE=sftc;1682259]Ted Turner is not even on Time Warner's board of directors anymore, much less in charge of CNN's content. He's more into being the largest private landowner in the US and running his restaurant chain. QUOTE]
I actully know that, just sounds funny. This IS a daily show thread;)
AOL= total POS. I'm Pretty sure my parents are the last 2 people who surf there.
welcome stones, we DS/CR fans are a rabid bunch, eh? Maybe we will actually vote this year:wink:
Edit: that Polling piece is great. I love Rigley's tough love "Who are U voting 4? clinton? If U change your mind, I WILL punch U in the FACE...POW!"
nope there's 4 people still your parents, my sister and my father in law still are using AOL
always amusing when they complain that their computers crash due to some obscure virus or their inbox is clogged with spam. Whats even more amusing is that they HAVE internet access through a cable modem and STILL log on to the internet through AOL:eek::rolleyes:
I've tried, I really have, but sometimes evolution just passes people by:)
thanks for finding that
Jon Stewart is on Larry King live right now, and gonna be hosting. go watch it
and he continues to be the man....
That was at time perfectly [in JS tone] "akwaaarrrd"
he is brutally honest. I don't think Cooper Anderson likes the pie chart comments.
and how about when Jon says 2 LK,
"how long have u been doing this? 40-50yrs?, and if I may say.... it shows."
LK goes "Excuse me?" [stare, pause, crickets]
Hope the Oscars are a lil less "akwaarrrrd"
i would give my left testicle 2 see Colbert, in character on LK
Ok, so this is pissing me off real bad. The Daily Show is my favorite currently airing program to watch (all my other favorites are off air..trailer park boys, AD, sunny in philly..). So you know how they changed The Daily Show to A Daily Show during the writers strike? Last week it was resolved, and they had 1 or 2 new episodes of The DS/CR. Monday night, I sit down in front of the tube, ready for a whole new week of Daily Show genius, and what comes on? A fucking rerun from 2 weeks ago. Why the fuck, the first full week after the writers strike ends, is the Daily Show on reruns??
[/rant]
My fault Jer.
I dragged this out of the search archives. I didn't want to start a new thread, and didnt realize it was in the s/s forum until after I posted about how Jon Stewart is the fucking mang!
I actually think this thread was created before the padded rooms inception. and maybe adverse or someone could move it. (100% possible I'm a wrong JONG, also known as a WONG:D
ODGABFE....or whatever,
1) it was a holiday on Monday.
2) he is hosting the Oscars. It requires that he, and his team of crackpot writers. go 2 CA, write jokes, and bang hot blonds. Cuz seriously, NY,NY during the winter would = suckage
Colbert = funny
Stewart = tired
Clearly, Colbert is a genius of the highest possible intellect.
Stewart is not tired, he is just sick. ...sick of the total bullshit.
I have been watching (since kilborn days) and over the years U could see a change in Jon's style. he used 2 keep it lite and funny. Now he is more like, "WTF?" alot and visibly irate, which I kinda like, because seriously "WTF?"
+I consider Stewart/Colbert a 1-2 punch with very diff styles
edit: thanks 4 the Utubes yeti, classic. my fav Colbert is still the correspondence dinner at the white house, A true warrior-poet with huge balls!
Tucker Carlson haters should enjoy this...
Tucker Carlson Out at MSNBC
March 10, 2008, 12:49 PM EST
NEW YORK (AP) --The bow tie is out at MNSBC. David Gregory is replacing Tucker Carlson as host of a one-hour show each evening.
The news network is making a handful of changes to respond to heavy political interest. Gregory's new show is called "Race for the White House" and will be on each weekday at 6 p.m. starting next Monday.
Carlson has been at MSNBC for nearly three years.
MSNBC also says that Andrea Mitchell will anchor an hour each afternoon. Keith Olbermann's popular "Countdown" program will rerun every night at 10.
