oh god, you are wrong. Everyone complaining about judging is dead on. On any other IFSA sanctioned event, guys who land on their ass, hip, or head don't move on. (The exception is Tabke, who lost a ski last year at Jackson and still made the superfinal.) Most of the time, a guy who puts a hand down or has a bobble doesn't move on. I know the judges were inexperienced, but at least Tatsuno should know better. Even guys on the podium were complaining about the judging.

And if it helps you other_grskier, I finished well within the top 10.

and this ain't no alias. My name is Greg Rubens. i am a skier. therefore...i am the grskier. but that was taken. so i'm the other grskier. the why is there only one grskier? it doesn't seem fair. it just so happens myself and grskier ski the same terrain.

Oh and judging is all subjective, Tatsuno loves to ski super hard lines fast and give'er. So naturally that is going to score well with him, technique and control might be down but the other categories will be off the charts.....

All depends on what that particular judge likes to see....

What has this conversation degraded into? The best skiers won. Its obvious, watch the videos. Those who did not qualify for the second day... 40 made the cut .... did not ski like the skiers that did. Jeff King CHARGED into two trees and was going so fast he got spun upside down. Damn, that was nuts! And Luke

But overall, I have never seen such talent rock the Hanging Valley Wall. A few years back, Vince and Estrada and Shine etc. were the only ones hucking near two trees. Now its everyones domain. Maybe Vince should come out of retirement. Bet he wants to! All we have to do is shoot him up with some cortizone and a box of Advil! You know we have not seen the last of Lahey.
