"Violence? You're lucky I didn't put my shoe up your ass.
You see? Now, that's abuse. I know what my rights are. I can call Social Services, and they'll send a case worker.
Go ahead, he'll get the other shoe. " - Tony to AJ

Directed by Peter Bogdanovich. Not one of the best episodes.Quote:

So now we've had her naked, Melfi showing her Braccos. Who's next Meadow? Please don't say Rose Aprille.....
So what's gonna happen--Adrianna gets whacked, or goes into witness protection? You know that counselor of AJ's doesn't have much longer to live. T is gonna beat the shit out of him.
tony's gonna be heartbroken when he finds out. especially since he thinks the guy is gay.
what about anthony telling big tony that he'd kick his ass someday? foreshadowing?
tony discovers carmella's affair -> tony beats carmella -> anthony shoots tony
I think he'll get his knee caps smashed - remember he said something like "what's he gonna do, smash my knee caps?".
Carm's character is very interesting, and he wasn't too far off in his assessment. She does get what she wants (remember how she got Meadow into college?) and uses her own, feminine, ways to do it. Some of Tony has to have rubbed off after all these years, and she does condone his "business", after all. She can be just as menacing "watch your back", she said, as she left...
The NY Post said something about her being a cast member in the new Matt LeBlanc series (hope she's getting paid well).... so apparently, she's not going to be around Sopranoland too much longer.Quote:

Anyone else think this most recent one was kinda funny....found myself laughing more than any other episode in the past...
Interesting that Carmela glances at the photo and gives the audience the impression that she will feel some kind of remorse about her "infidelities."
She then goes downstairs, gets the gun, and puts it under her pillow. Not the reaction I expected at all.
And I think they could have paced Steve B.'s fall from "guy makes good" to gambling wreck a little better. It all came undone in about 12 hours.
she's actually signed on for the sixth seasonQuote:

It's back, baby. Directed by Steve Buscemi. This one reached to the core.
"Don't give me that look. This is your problem. I will not fuckin' enable you."
Rock the Casbah used in a chase scene....and my new sig.......
Christafaa: So why the fuck didn't you call me?
Very good episode.
We've bitched about this before, but... although I love all the different plot lines, they've got so many plates spinning right now, it gets a bit frustrating when they have to COMPLETELY drop one interesting thread (Carmela or AJ or Blundetto or Adriana or Paulie or Melfi or the crazy Russian or fill in the blank) and start yet another.
And Jesus, how unnerving were the scenes with the goomah that Tony's father used to bang? I was sure that T was going to examine her drooping assets.
"Five hours they let me out for these funerals," he says, "I'm gonna spend it bein' maudlin?"
Best this season. Brilliant.
"You know, sometimes wha happens in here is a lot like takin' a shit.
Yes, ok, well I like to think of it like childbirth.
Trust me, it's like takin' a shit."
And another new sig...
how about Vito blowing that security guard? crazy! can't wait for the huge shit to happen, someone big's got to go.
"Maybe he wants to fuck me then kill me."
Great episode. The Finn character is awesome. A little slow on the uptake, but hilarious. And they make you think he's gonna get with the hot girl at the construction site, but who comes on to him? Fat Vito! Meadow is the classic princess. She's so realistic I think I dated her once. I swear he proposed just so she'd shut the fuck up and he could go to sleep.
The show's definitely got it's fastball back. Now we gotta see how they work the Buscemi/Christafa angle, Carmela and Tony maybe getting back together, work Paulie into the show, and the whole NY saga ready to blow up. Lots of fun for the rest of the season.
I did that once. I'm divorced.Quote:

^bump^
upper montclair country club reprasent! my old apartment building was in the show last night as well.
"i don't like missing the national anthem" among other things.
I just watched this a second time. That is a hell of a line.Quote:

Three episodes left and they give me a dream sequence? A thirty-minute dream sequence?
I want my money back.
The fuck was that?
At first, I thought the dream sequence was brilliant writing. Then, half an hour in, I thought "alright already!".
Lots of foreshadowing in that dream sequence, though. 2 episodes left this season, next one is the last one. Will Tony be killed? Will Tony kill the other Tony? Looks like hell is about to break loose.
