Alright buddy, you got people here trying to help. You need to take some initiative and help us help you! :D
Just missed you in Tram line then Me and Twoplanker were there and I saw them fat sonsobitches from a mile away. 2P was on his monsters the first half of the day and 188 stiffs for the other part.
Got to finish up a lot of work today and will donate a few bucks in the am.
:yourock:
Alto get on the fatty bros. They will rock your socks off man. Good luck.
I have $30 left in my paypal account from a refund. It is a major bitch to actually get the cash back, so it looks like it is going to Yurp.
It would be really cool to see an America maggot on Bros stick it to the Euros. (Euro maggots excepted)

This seems as good a place as any to say thanks to the whole maggot community. I recent had a car accident in Mammoth, and needed a ride back to LA. Several maggots stepped in to help, and I got home (and still manged to ski three days.)
Maggots help Maggots, whether it is traveling 300 miles from Mammoth to LA, or 7,000 miles from SLC to Geneva. Maggots rule.
The music coming out of my speakers has never made me feel this good. But never have I listened to this song while reading pages full of friendly responses trying to help me, so it is obviously a bit more.... enhanced this evening.
Anyway, there's already $30 in the account from hutash, thanks a lot man. Splat I got some complex ski issues, I'll text you tomorrow. There is a special maggot/lurker who I just ran into who told me his dad might have a buddy pass for me. I'm guessing that my standby ticket would then be about $300-400 to Europe (cheaper than what I figured on the SkyMiles donation idea).
I've seen this board gather to support plenty of people in the past, but I won't look at it the same way again.
Updates soon!
Thanks!
I'll chip in, mostly because if all goes well, I'll be in this exact same situation when I graduate from college and move back west. Alto, if you see a kid looking completly lost at the bird anytime between december 16th and jan 15th rocking 190 w105s or spatulas, point me in the direction of some good snow. I hate moving to a new ski area, I finially got to know squaw well enough to ski lines fluidly that I would have to stop in normally to get my bearings, that and know where the good snow will be hidden depending on the day. Now I'm in park city and starting all over again.....fuck.
Money sent. Go get em man. Have a great time.
What's the Paypal addy to donate to?
If you show up on a Saturday at the Geneva airport, you can easily hitch a ride to Les Arcs with any of the British travel companies who have their buses lined up outside the airport to take their pasty white English punters (tourists) up to various areas. Just look for any of the travel company reps in the arrivals area and ask a bunch of them if they have a coach (that's what they call a bus) going to Les Arcs with room for an extra person. You should be able to get a ride pretty cheap (20 years ago the going rate was around $10). Heck, I've even hitch-hiked from Geneva to various French ski areas, but it really helps to speak french, know your way around, not have much luggage and know how to get public transit from the airport to the French border.
Anyway, what's your paypal addy? Maggots helped me out when I was fundraising for a charity last year so I guess I need to repay the favor.
Here's the image posted bro...

I'll email some friends with this and see if we can drum up some support.
Oh there's one catch to my donation. I want a sick TR from the comps. Vid is optional :D
I just checked, and I have 5400 redeemable miles. If more people can get on this, they're yours.
PayPal sent...
And getting from Geneve to Les Arcs should be easy, most likely one swap with a train and then coach/funicular up to the resort... Or there's also a straigh coach connection from GVA (I seem to remember that it's ~20 to 30 Eur per direction, but might be wrong).
Les Arc's to Verbier is a tad more work, but doable... I'd prolly try to get a ride from Les Arcs to Cham and ski there a day or two, before taking the train to Martigny and then a new train to Le Chable with a coach to Verb.
There is easy bus service from Geneva to La Plange and Les Arcs. It requires One change of Buses.
If you swing the ticket with skymiles, keep what I sent to buy euro maggots beers.
So is this:

the Paypal account to send $$ to?
That is where I sent it, and he said he got it in an earlier post.
Sent a little. Hopefully every bit counts.

get on this people
I love you all.
I have little to give in return other than in depth TRs of the comps and down time (nekkid french club debauching?) coverage
Furthermore.... Let's make it a raffle...
I have a brand new pair of 120mm BD ClipFix skins. I will compile all the names of people who send money over to paypal, and in a couple weeks I'll throw the names in a hat and send out the goodie to the winner. Sound good?
I am a total Paypal Jong...does it matter what I put in "Category of Purchase?" Will one option clear faster than another?
Another donation. Good luck Drew. Go Big :fmicon:
