You're an idiot. Post some pictures of yourself hucking something huge before calling someone out. Until then, shut the hell up and enjoy some quality stokage.Quote:

p.s. absofuckinglutelyHUGE! Nice work. Hopefully I can't get down to your parts at some time and we can ski. Props.
Thanks for sharing.
FKNA!
Once I think ive been stoked by a thread, I then see something like this. Speechless, the sking and the shots, way to go. Thanks for the happy pow dreams tonight.
I think it was a little bit of both. When I was finally able to see where I was going to land I intentionally rocked into the backseat. I kept my eyes on my landing and just kept falling, then I don't know if it was the wind or what, but my skis kept trying to flip me over. I think "shane-o's" post earlier was probably pretty accurate. I kept my abs and back flexed and bent so I wouldn't flip over. I also tried to add drag with my arms. I was able to keep my back where I wanted it, but the skis kept climbing. If I didn't fight it I'm sure I could've been blown over. If you notice over the last 3 frames of air my back is pretty steady, but my feet are going nuts. I wanted to land how my body was 5 frames up from the impact shot. That was the plan anyway. This is hands down the biggest I've ever gone and no doubt a learning experience. You've got to hold that form longer than I did, but it also surprised me just how fast the last portion of the fall went (meaning be ready to land how you want early). The speed changed bigtime later in the air. It seemed like I was floating forever and then it became violently fast and was done.Quote:

thanx for sharing md and nice shots doc
I don't know whose coat you're wearing, md, but you should send them that best shot. For me, the coat has an extraterrestrial quality.
Yeah. Just lucky is all.Quote:

Damn, GT40, those pics are very very good.
Granted J is a great subject, but GT deserves mad props for those pics. They are tremendous.
Nice Huck J!
When you coming back to Kwood? I think Hospital Air is calling you name. ;)
Agreed. He's definitely stepped it up this year with both the photos and the skiing. He dropped over twenty pounds before the season from biking so he's skiing really strong and all the weight from the new camera set-up isn't slowing him down at all. He's got a couple more lenses coming soon including a fish-eye which should make for some really cool shots. He's been using this thing for less than a month. I'm sure he's just going to keep getting better and better too.Quote:

They had the coats clearanced after X-mas, but there weren't any bright colored ones left...except for a bright red one in the holiday window display that was being worn by a giant teddy bear. I took the coat from the teddy bear. This was at The Gap. I also ski on Pocket Rockets. ;) Although the Maidens will be coming out tomorrow. :D
I think what Xover is trying to say here is you need to bring your A game biatch!Quote:

Man, the 'Basin is one of my favorite places to ski in Utah. What you guys are doing there is unfathomable to me. Hopefully I'll get a chance to see it live and establish my true gaperness. WOW. Off the charts stoke, gentlemen.

Right in the middle of that is where I'd probably hit the rewind button and ski my pansy ass away to a cliff about 50 feet lower. Gawd damm.
MD9: Could you please clue us mortals in as how you manage to land cliffs of ginormic proportions without getting hurt?
Huge. Just plain huge.
If it weren't for his Faith in the Lord I think he'd be dead. :DQuote:

Excellent thread, insane pics.
I'm doing the happy dance. MD9--that air is retarded. That last pic is so tight. Totally, totally legit. Props to GT40 for all his work as well.
