I have sold three jackets on gear swap during the past month. In each transaction, I sent the jacket to the buyer so that they could see what they were purchasing with the trust that, if they liked the jacket, that they would send me a check. I am happy to report that I promptly received checks for all three of the jackets. A shout out to Doremite, AltaPowderDaze, and Twoplanker for being great gear swap customers.
The success of Gear Swap is dependent upon trust. Hopefully the accused maggot will step forward and make things right.
I'm guessing its a failure to communicate (oversight). Probably doesn't have PM notification checked. I'll try another channel.
The issue has been resolved. It was a simple mistake. As far as I'm concerned, it's over and donewith and I have no issues whatsoever. It doesn't matter who it was and it has been taken care of.
Totally me. A million and one pardons and apologies. I am so, so sorry, A- I honestly have no clue as to what happened to the check I sent before but I am sending a new one, with interest and naked pictures of someone else's sister. My PM counter is at 0, but when I got your popup today there were 4 or 5 unread messages sitting there that I had no idea existed. Excuses are weak, all I can do is apologize, but I really had no fkn clue (in part because my PM notices go to an email address I never use and hardly ever check- dumb). You had every right to out me and didn't, further going to show that you are a stand-up guy- thanks again, and apologies one more time.
But what about the bloodthristy torchwaving hoards? Your political career will get snuffed!
Your patience is honorable, but the time has come to think of other things.Caloo Calais, out him today,it's a maggot thing.

I'm told that bloodthirsty torchwaving hordes are a key demographic here in Pennsylvania. Or maybe that was Transylvania...Quote:

Dallas--
If you don't mind, can we still have a "public outing". I already spray-painted my Obermeyer one-piece black and was getting all excited about trumpets and tomatoes and angry mobs of maggots with nashing teeth and torches.
Right? Grizzle, if you want to sue me, well, I think you have a case here. So I've enclosed my card with the check and the nudie pics. I'll give you the buddy rate of $65/hr...Quote:

Yeah, given recent events in Nauvoo, IL most Mormons don't like bloodthirsty mobs.Quote:

Well that was uneventful. Once again maggots prove trustworthy.....so much for our Tuesday drama.
Ok back to the Washington stoke now.
I was once the jerk in a gear swap transaction. It was a time when my net access was unreliable nd sparse, I couldn't jong my way around with Paypal, and I had a trillion and one other things happening. Those were bad excuses and I gave the seller a ton of options out, kept him fairly apprised of my road blocks and he kept me in the loop when Paypal failed or shorted him because of fees.
good people make mistakes and we should all do our best to conduct our transactions with the most transparency and good faith.
